Okay, so everybody's wondering about Zuko's spiritual descision. As we see in a screenshot, Katara is touching Zuko's scar and in her other hand is the special oasis water from Pakku. Do you think Zuko asks her to heal it for him? Do you think Katara offers? Do you think Zuko decides to go through with it, or not?
now i dont want any zOMG ZUTARA!!! boYA kataangerszZZ!!! muahaha!
this is about Zuko's scar, his identity. That which makes him 'teh baddass'. hes had it for almost 3yrs of his life...shud he be so eager to part w/ it?
i like hearing ur opinions, but also try to figure out what zukos thinking
Personally, id like to see how he'd groom himself w/o his scar. but i dont necessarily like the fact tht Katara is healing it, unless hes making her do it.

I want Katara t either try and fail, after offering (not Zuko asking her) or she offers and Zuko declines.
His scar is what makes him what he is... totally awesome!

I would like to see what he looks like without it... not like the dream version of him though. It would be nice if Katara offered.

the thing is, zukos scar symbolizes his banishment, and it has become part of him. when he sees it, he remembers what his father did, and drives him to capture the avatar. if it is healed, then a lot of those bad feelings will be soothed, which is good for zuko. but i cant imagine him without it... like you said, it makes him teh badass.. so im conflicted...

It wouldn't be cool if his scar was healed, I mean, it is sort of part of his identity now, like Katara's hair loopies, and Aang's arrow... And it reminds him why he shouldn't go back to his father, and all that crap.

His scar reminds him of what his father did to him, and how his father acted. It would remind him of reasons to help Aang, instead of his father. I've been waiting for Zuko to join the Aang Gang for ages... since the Blue Spirit episode.

Zuko had better keep his scar, he needs it for his identity. Maybe more towards the end of the series, he needs the scar to remind him that the Fire Nation is evil, otherwise his anger might get the better of him. The scar needs to stay, and I hope it is a Katara offers, and Zuko refuses.

I would actually love it if it happened, and it would make sense, especially with what Iroh was mentioning about Zuko "becoming the beautiful prince he was meant to be". Zuko's is going through an immense emotional transition right now, and, like it or not, it IS a nickelodeon show and that may be a little complex for little kids to understand. So, to aid in the understanding of why Zukos is suddenly nice, they might have Katara remove the scar and make them friends or whatever. Not to mention, the symbolism, he is, basically, abandoning his past and who he was, the scar is whi he used to be, a symbol of his exile, now that he is, in turn abandoning the fire nation, he no longer needs it, it used to have meaning, now it's just a burn mark.

I think Zuko would stop her, wanting to wait till he defeated his father.
Though this is kind of a toss up for me.

I like Zuko's scar.....its all kool. But, I think it is going to be healed. Its the only way Zuko will change. Me thinks when he looses the scar, he will teach Aang to firebend. At least I hope.
I lllluuuvvvvvv Zuko! heart
