you know how the bible says
any man or angel who preach any other gospel let him be a curse.
so my question is when they say ANGEL. has an angel besides lucifer tried it's own little religion.

blakjapaneseangl you know how the bible says any man or angel who preach any other gospel let him be a curse. so my question is when they say ANGEL. has an angel besides lucifer tried it's own little religion. really? where is this verse in the bible actually found? and when lucifer separated himself from God and heaven, he did get some of the other angels on his side. I remember this history in one bible study. Sorry, i forgot where this is from, but Satan brought down other ANGELS with him and they now are against God. I think they became demons. Sooo, there is more than one angel that turned to demon. And that means, that they used to be angels. So, maybe tecnically they arent angels anymore... hmm.. i hope i'm making sense. Just know that demons are also in this world, trying to keep us away from God. So, if ANYBODY preaches any other gospel, its wrong razz

Angel is literally translated messenger of god. Soooo depending on who the "angel" is worshiping I suppose that would work. An angel can propegate the wrong message if they are choosing not to worship God.

i know it's not given in the bible but you know like the story of the beginning of muslem. when muhammad said he an ANGEL. told him to start this up. also satan is a fallen angel. it's technically an angel right. so are there other angels telling false teachings.

Mormonism. the angel Moroni (or was it Nephi? apparently Joseph Smith didn't get it right when he told the story to the local papers) came and gave Joseph Smith two golden tablets. and apparently he also saw Jesus, the Father (?), and some apostles. i think Moroni/Nephi could've very well have been a demon disguised, maybe even Satan himself.

I honestly didn't see her post. I apologize. blakjapaneseangl, don't say other religions are false. Please. I find it very offensive, even those religions which are not mine. I believe that every religion has some part of the truth, no matter how small it may or may not be. Every religion has good in it. Therefore, none are "false".

We DO know for fact that there are Mormons in this Guild. And MoroniNephi could have been a fallen angel, it could have been an Angel sent from God. i'm not trying to say other religions are false i'm just trying to ask if there are angels spreading religions thgat god himself said not to say. i just used the muslim thing as an example. i didn't mean to offend anyone.

Ok case in scripture of an angel (using definition of messenger) spreading the wrong message... in the book of Job when his friends are trying to insist that Job is in sin Eliphaz says that a spirit came before him and said these words...(and then goes on to say something to the effect that no man is perfect and so Job most definately is in sin and that Job has declared himself above God, which was not the case at all.). The truth of the matter comes out later in the book when God rebukes both of them and sets matters straight. However, a spiritual being of some sort DID speak a message not from God. I'm trying to think of other cases but it's after 1 a.m. right now and my brain is fried.

Please do not confuse Milton and Dante's works, as well as fictional media material, with cannon scripture. According to the Bible, ha-satan is YHVH's subordonate. He orchestrates tests of faith, and only carries them out with God's permission. Job, baby... Satan may or may not have been a fallen angel himself, but that does not mean he had fallen from the grace of God. Jesus says, in the Bible, that he saw Satan fall. We're not sure if he ever was or was not an angel--but fallen or not, he is an agent of YHVH, not a rebel against him. Consider it a necessary evil, if it be "evil" at all.

Read through all of Job (I realize that's rather vague, but the Bible quoted out of context typically doesn't provide much in the way of accurate proof). Ha-satan answers to YHVH. As for Satan not being a rebel against YHVH, I have no idea how to prove the non-existance of scripture... Sorry.
