. P e r s o n a l i t y: Kurai has a very blunt personality. She doesn't put up with whining, or insults. Most of the time her reactions are to either whack you up side the head with her fist, or start yelling before she comes to a compromise. During her travels she has been branded and cynical, often vitriolic, and a bit rude.

[.] L a r g e scale weapons : Kurai's choice of weapon is rather awkward for strategical reasons. Most ninja would take advantage of smaller weapons such as kunai, or shurikun. In Kurai's case, she chooses to carry around a large saw-toothed sword on her back. The estimated weight of the sword and sheath is around 112 pounds, giving the impression that her movements in battle would be rather slow. Regardless of the things thought about her over sized weapon. She has learned how to move fairly quickly with it on her back, and in her hand.
The blade itself is sharpened daily, and was hand crafted by her grandfather. She prefers her sword over the smaller weapons, and rarely takes it off her back.

[.] Kurai is a genius when it comes to medics. She has developed her own way of being a medical ninja at that. She also has a tendency to help random people just for her sheer entertainment. She parents, are terrible medical-nin with absolutely no talent whatsoever for the job, but her grandfather taught her everything he knew. But due to her parents false judgements about her she was retained in the academy despite the fact that her progress far exceeded the regular gennin. She specializes in poisons, and techniques that cause harm to your bodily functions. For example she can manipulate her chakra to a electrical wave that malfunctions muscles and deteriorates the tissue slowly.

[.] In the village documents, Kurai is ranked as a missing-nin. Though at her age she should be nearing the level of Jounin her current data says that she's still only a genin. True her skill level is that beyond of a mere genin. The fault falls onto her parents, whom are practically the worst medical-nin in the Yukigakure. She herself is practically a genius in the medical arts, taking after her late grandfather. But due to her parents decision she was held back in the academy for taking the exams for chunin.
Due to her new found rage for having to repeat everything that she had learned for the sake of her parents, she ran away. She didn't necessarily know where she has headed to but she was desperate to leave that place.
So for the moment being she simply wanders around, doing as she pleases.

[.] As far as her family's history goes in general, they've each got one part of their body that is vulnerable to attacks and such. in her case it's her chest area and near her heart. In return though they have the capability to be able to master Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and Ninjutsu. She doesn't find herself using genjutsu often, but has focused herself on mastering Taijutsu and Ninjutsu alone.

[.] K U R A I tends to cling to dark colored clothing, having grown up in the Yukigakure. Normal looks for her consists of a black scarf that she wears across her neck, regardless of the current weather outside. A black Kimono styled top that's sleeveless, some black cotton capris, and some simple gung xi slip ons for easy movements.
