"Heh...I'd have to agree with you," Raka said as he watched his younger sibling weeve through the branches, "I used to be just like him when I was a kid..."

As they finally reached the base of the hill the smell of the Ocean was strong through the trees.

"Let's keep this pace...we're nearly there!" Raka called back as he waited for Leto and Canis...his eyes watching the mountain behind then cautiously...
At first he saw nothing, merely a rustling of the evergreens that grew on the sloping hillside. Then there was a pronounced shift in the treeline. Someone or something was coming. Slowly, but surely it was on it's was directly to the trio of vagabonds.
"Leto...take Canis and hide behind the treeline..." Raka said as he pulled his ANBU mask over his face and turned towards the mountainside drawing two of his swords, "Someone's coming..."
Leto started to climb back up the hill, struggling at first, but eventually getting some good grip. Canis merely snagged a younger tree and allowed it to slingshot him in the opposite direction. They both met up where they could watch and, if need be, provide some sort of support.
The trees crashed out to the sides as a massive ball rolled down into the valley, moving directly at Raka. It was covered in spikes and coming fast.


Raka growled as he stabbed his two swords into the ground and slammed his hands into the earth pulling up a large super-thick slab of solid stone!

The spiked ball impacted the stone wall with incredible force but the stone managed to stop the balls rotation just in time...

Raka then grabbed his blades and jumped back ready for the next attack....

"You there...you're of the Akimichi clan are you not? Why do you attack me?" Raka asked as he crouched low...
