Don't you hate it when you're doing a play that's dense and/or confusing, and your fellow cast members can't stop whining about it? Or, when you actually get it and can't understand why other people can't get it? I think sometimes when a play's really confusing, people try to hard to make sense of it. I barely put effort into understanding "Camino Real," but I just kind of absorbed the play, and listened to other people's interpretations, and before I knew it my own interpretation just came to me; I got it, and I really liked it!
Oh, and I hate when people hate a play just because they "don't get it." Can't they just appreciate art for art's sake?
