A figure calmly worked his way through the building, looking around at the pieces that had been replaced and the parts that had been assembled. He absently walked through the area, going through the dance floor, the stage set up there, the main hall where the huge entrance doors were, and the back apartments, each apartment set up as a little torture room that would light a warm fire in a masochist's heart. He calmly looked at the stairs winding up in the back of the building and the stairs winding down. The stairs going up led to administrative offices on the second floor, as well as many a private lounge, where the staff did the paperwork that went into running a nightclub. This was simply barred with a small velvet rope that said "Employees Only". He then looked at the rusty spiral staircase leading down into the basement, which had been fitted with an iron door. These led down to the darker and more labyrinthine levels of the building, and to some dark gauntlet runs where people died easily due to the fact that the gauntlet runs were designed with no chance of survival. He calmly went to the door then, opening it and then placing a sign on the outside of the door before turning on the bright neon sign that said "DAS NACHT HAUS DES WAHNSINNS".
