Once A Friend.

Never sleep
Wounds too deep
Shattered pride
Spirit died
Immortal pain
Bound chain
Crimson tears
Living fear
Unheard prayers
Here I lay
Broken by the one I once considered a friend.

T'was bored. It's an old poem.

I see a smile.
I know it's fake.
I see a smile.
This time it's real.

A handshake.
A hug.
A kiss on the cheek.
Don't care if anyone sees.

Scream out.
"Screw you!"
Then dance in the park.
To the music in your own head.

No one gets you?
You don't care.
Go talk to trees.
Go hug the bench.

Strange looks.
A flick of the hand.
Gave them the one-finger salute!
"Good day to you, too!"

It seems like we're only close when we're together
When we're not, we fall apart
A loosely knit connection
Star-crossed from the start
And you say you're there, but are you really
When we never talk..?
Everyone says they're busy
when they're really not
Maybe it's just the wrong time, the wrong place
Or maybe we're ********, this was a mistake
I don't know what to believe anymore
Maybe I've forgotten what I'm waiting for

Or maybe it's just dissapeared
