I love the Mad Hatter. I don't know why, but I do. I was going to be some type of M.H. for Halloween, however, I ended up being a witch. sad

That's "a very happy un-birthday" written up there. This is my first doll with some type of a background. I'm proud of it. I love comments and critiques. The base is from Autumn Pixels. (I love Jaeden's bases and dolls so much!)

I really like all the teacups and the teapot, however, I think you should have drawn some of them tipped slightly, as if they had sunken into the one under it. That would be more realistic to stacking things up... and maybe saucers.

As for the girl.... her clothings is not on her body properly.

You've just colored in her skin tone, without actually taking into account the thickness of the clothing. You may have been going for a skin-tight fit, but having more than one layer tends to negate that feeling. Not to mention fabrics color different than skin.
Remeber that clothingsits ON the skin, not in it and they have wrinkles and folds and they tend to bunch a bit when the body moves.

I especially dislike the shorts/skirt whatever that is. Because of lack of folds and definitive shadows, I can't tell what it IS suppossed to be.

Also the Xs that go up the front of her corset, they are uneven, unmatching and look like they should be along the middle of her rib and not the center as I think you were trying for. The turn of her body is very misleading to he eyes.It also looks like she is suppossed to have almost a profile view, but you gave her a 3/4ths view on the clothing you drew upon her. If the base was 3/4 as well, then you should really develop the shadows on the breasts more. 3nodding

I don't want this to discourage you, I'm just trying to point out the things you need to work on. Do not be afraid to go nearly black with your shading, same as near white with your highlights ... sometimes.

Just keep working on clothing design. You'll get better with more practice. =3
