Name: Kanis Odran
Age: 34
Race: Human
Profession: Necromancer Vassel of Necrom.
Weilds: A short staff made from bones with bat like wings at the sides (the top) and a crystal skull in between the wings. He also wields a basic long sword out of necessity but he prefers using his minions for that.
Family: Deceased killed to test his powers in necromancy, Fiancee kidnapped and murdered by raiding bandits. He brought her back but killed her after she rejected him for turning to necromancy.)
Habits, Reputation: Enjoys raising suits of armour to defend him,

Character History: Kanis was born into a wealthy and powerful sorcerer family. In his youth he learned the ways of a noble man and a sorcerer devoted to all the gods. During the uprising of the followers of Necrum his family fought and helped the paladins and angels attain victory. After that when he was in his late twenties his families country manor was raided and burnt to the ground. His fiancée was abducted in the confusion. Eventually the group were found and and arrested but by then the Anne was no more.

When Kanis learned of this his despair would not end and he ran from his life using his sorcery to get away and his money to delve into research on necromancy. Five years passed and he reappeared before his family clad in the garbs of a necromancer and in the company of a vampiress. Then and there he sacrificed his family to ascend into the most powerful living state for a necromancer. This form was as close to Necrom as a living being could attain, without being killed and resurrected.

His power obtained and with Necrom guiding him he headed for Sinak Island. Applying his greater power and wealth Necrom subjugated either in life or death all those that "lived" on the island.* As a mark of his dominance he called all of his minions living and dead and built a great Obelisk. Which towers high into the sky a wretched mockery of the "Temple of Ages".

He now seeks to release the many many seals upon Necrom and attain the next stage of power. A greater dead a creature of the same level as a vampire, but with more power directed to the Necromantic arts.**

(*Any ideas on whether he should have done anything particularly nasty to the last leader?

Greater undead form (in case pat forgets lol): cat-like eyes, same pale-skin and silver hair. His hands became claw-like upon transformation (think Nero from DMC4) and his neck-tattoo glows when he uses magic.

Profession: Retired warrior, owner of the cat and bell Tavern
Weilds: An double headed axe that has seen many battles, and hacked many orcs to peices.
Family: Organ has a wife and two children both are in there late teens and work along side him and his wife in the bar.
Habits, reputation: Once known for his rabid hatred of Orc he has since become tolerent of all races after he was forced to retire.
Other: He's in his mid sixties and walks with a limp his leg was impale with a spear by a fellow human and leads him to treat all races as equal. Again because of his wound he will not tolerate any fighting in his bar and will forcible remove those fighting if nessercary.

Race: Vampire (A none traditional and fledgling type vampire)
Profession: Kanis's body guard and mistress
Wields: A pair of demon made Scimitars, a set known as Nul and Lux. (Made by the Samlyn clan.)
Family: Deceased used in the vampire ritual, Parents for the transformation brother for her first meal. There are no others like her as the ritual is far too unstable for multiple uses. (In other words any other vampire must be sired the normal way.)
Habits, reputation: None yet

Character History: A common young woman from a poor country village. She was a child after the necromancer uprising and grew up with a great fear of a second. Because of this she started to learn how to defend herself finding an interest in the swords of the demon Samlyn clan.

Kanis Ordan eventually came to her villiage and became fascinated with her beauty. He set a pair of his minions to kidnap her and was surprised when they never returned. After that he went to her himself and through kind words and pure lordly charm he "swept her off her feet". He soon learned of her skill with blades and took using a lesser version of the ritual* used to create the first vampire.

He turned her making her his personal bodyguard and concubine.** They would later head to the Samlyns home in Kharsov. Where she would obtain Lux and Nul a set of high quality Samlyn made Scimitars. Following that she would aid in his subjugation of Sinak Island, staying with him for almost everything as his most loyal servant.


(* The ritual creates a stronger vampire who starts off stronger then your average sired vampire. Her greater power is not enough to challenge the oldest of vampires. ie most vampire lords in Namek she's still a fledling to them.
