Wow I remember when they aired the very first episode of pokemon in english haha, I don't think this show is really a classic, but it's definetly been out for a while now :]

New Pokemon sucks D; And Digimon was better anyway. ;D

As for why I think it's better -- it was the original (don't argue, it was!), the story line was better, the characters were deeper.

But Pikachu pwns every Digimon's digital soul. xD

My Pokemon fav is biased becuse I have for babie Slowpokes. ;-; Don't tell them but I like Pikachu better. And Eevee's and such and Meowth's and such, and basically all the cat/dog/fox/wofl Pokemon. xD They're so cute.

Digimon? Terriormon probobly. Sooo cuuute. whee

I love the games! I want the new one! But pokemon yellow is my favourite.

I remember the first season of Pokemon. I didn't get to see the first air of the very first episode, but I did see the first airs of a lot of the first seasons episodes. I was so excited when they got to Indago Plateu! But o...m..g.. I remember being SOOOO pissed, so much so I can still feel it now. I figured it would all be in one episode and they were advertising it for like a month. NOOO They dragged the blasted thing out to, I think it was 8 episodes. And the first episode didn't even have any fighting, it was about him holding the torch.... talk2hand

I was obbsessed with it though! I watched it all the time! I recorded it and watched it from the time I got home from school to the time I went to bed. I even entered a pokemon n64 game battle and won! I got the game for free! 3nodding I stopped watching it as time moved on... as I got older... just got boring because I wanted things resolved and they never were, seeing as how it was a kids show and they can repeat, repeat, repeat and not have a problem.

I agree with G.B. though, Digimon was better. The story had an actual plot to it and the characters were deeper, with more real life, emotionally driven stories. Bottom line, it was more emo! xd And the evolutions were way cooler looking than pokemon's, even though pokemon's evolutions weren't aimed to be visually appealing.

My fave pokemons are Jolteon, espeon, pikachu, chikorita and eevee and pichu were cute. There's a lot. sweatdrop

And as for Digimon, my fave is and always will be Gatomon. They have a 5th season coming out soon, don't cha know! wink This summer in the US. It's already realeased in Japan.
