Another celebration has started. As much as the party would like to begin searching for a way home, the town insists that this victory calls for a true celebration. The dragon is defeated, and they may begin living their lives in freedom! The tavern is giving away free food and drink to any who ask, and many have brought musical instruments into the town square. Nobody in the group has ever seen an entire town where every single person is overcome with joy. It's something that begs to be enjoyed, at least for a short time.

Starbright snorts herself awake at the sounds of celebration, and groans.
"Damn villagers can't let a hero sleep in peace..." she mutters, and gets to her feet, staggering out of her room at the inn and into the streets of the village, thoughts of a quiet night squashed for the time being.

Matty is wandering around, sipping at his drink. He talks to any he engage him in direct conversation, but excuses himself at soonest opportunity. He seems distracted.

Eventually, Matty and Mercy make their way to the center of town, where they see Johan building a rather nice-looking castle out of some sticks that have been broken down to popsicle size. Cheshire is nowhere to be found, at the moment.
Some young women, probably in their late teens, come by with flowers they've woven into a circle and place them around the necks of any who will accept them.

Soon, all the attention seems to be around Johan, since he seems to be giving the crowd the most of what they want. Mercy and Matty are left pretty much to their own devices.

Mercy breathes a sigh of relief, and takes a few minutes to look around. After that, she yawns, grumbling about a lack of sleep, and turns to Matty.
"Able to get anything about a way home out of the orcs?" she asks.
