Mm. Bleach is one of those really popular animes. I find Bleach very interesting. The only bad thing is that there's too many characters, and most of them don't get too much attention. For example, the 13 divisions are nice, but what with, 13 captains, 13 vice captains, and all the men in each division, it's rather hard to concentrate on each one.

Many people have been saying that Bleach is going downhill with the fillers. I think it's fine though. It keeps me interested.

Personally, I like the anime and the manga equally. I look forward to both each week ^^

When posting, please try to keep free of spoilers as often as possible. =)

Well, Bleach, in my opinion, had it's glory. Now released in the U.S..it's kind of going downhill for me. I stopped watching it around episode 80 or so, and haven't thought of even trying to catch up with it again.

In my opinion, there are now much better anime showing, most people just don't give the time to try and find something not as popular, but has a much better story line.

But, anywho, Bleach was a great anime while it lasted. I still think it should have ended after they saved Rukia and suchm but no, it had to keep goinf, and if it keeps on going, it's going to end up like Naruto with neverending filler episodes

I agree completely. There's nothing I hate more than when a show with potential loads up on filler. I mean, it's bad enough when the script of a particular episode goes something as such:

A: That's it! I'm gonna throw all my spirit power at you, even if it kills me!
B: Oh my god! So much spirit power!
C: I-I can't believe it!
B: ...So...Intense!
A: HERE WE GO! *throws generic orb of light*
C: LOOK OUT, B!
B: It's huge! How am I supposed to dodge that?
A: HAHAHA! You can't escape now!
C: B!!!!!!!!!!
B: Grbla!

I mean, jeez. Whatever happened to "Show; don't tell?"

Haha, yeah. But it lost it's potential after theey showed the Bound, Bounto, or whatever they're called. It just wasn't the same after that. It lost it's original storyline, which made it worse. But it's not as bad as Naruto yet..even thought it's on it's way to being like it

This is why, when I write things, people's heads explode for no apparent reason. Randomly. And then at the very end of the book/fanfiction/whatever, I might DANE to ALLOW the reader to understand why exactly character X who seemed integral to the plot, just suddenly exploded like an overripe pumpkin tossed off a parachuting elephant's a**.

I'm a big fan of the bleach manga.
I agree that there are a ton of characters, but I really don't mind. Some of them don't get a lot of attention, but they don't necessarily need a lot of attention to further the story line.

Has it finally reached a point where it's going down hill? Yeah, but I still enjoy it quite a bit. When the new enemies that showed up (around chapter 200), I really wasn't that impressed. Even so, I do think they carry the plot well. There was no, "WTF? How does this have to do with anything in the plot so far?" leap, though there was a definite "this could have ended already and everyone would have been happy" hop.

I haven't watched much of the manga, so I have no comment there.

Yeah..I tend to overlook the unpopular animes. Maybe I should look for some good ones.

(off topic) Hey cookie, I was wondering how you got your spirit aura? ^^; (has been searching for one for a while)

Most people do tend to overlookd the more interesting animes.

Such examples would be people who've never watched any anime besides pokemon, or something of that sort. And then hook onto, something new like naruto, bleach, etc. After that, they get obsessed and think they know everything about anime. Althought I have to admit, those ignorant people make my life more amusing, by taunting them of course. XD

I like it so far. You're right about the multitude of characters. I've never had a show where I've had so much trouble remembering everyone's names.
