Jean Grey, along with her fellow X-men, were trying to endure yet another one of Logan's rigorous Danger Room training sequences. A bit distracted by watching how serious and poised Scott was in a dire situation, she almost didn't notice the simulated robots firing at her. She used her telekinesis to make a shield around her self, deflecting their blasts. She then levitated some of the broken robot parts from already destroyed robots and sent them hurtling at the attacking robot, destroying them. She went over to Scott to try to aid him, "Tough work out, huh?"

Scott stood there blasting away with his lazer vision, and tried to smile, "with logan its always a tough workout." he huffed pushing Jean out of the way of a falling robot part.
"you know when this is over I think i'd like a root beer float," Scott sighed and sniffed the air, he could almost smell lunch being prepaired in the caf.
"hey do you think maybe Logan will let us go early today." Scott joked while splicing another Robot in half.

"Are you kidding me, the President could be in the mansion asking to speak with him and he still would cut the training session short," she joked and smiled, sending approaching robots flying into the wall with her telekinesis. "Oh, and I'll take you up on that root beer float," she smiled with a toss of her hair, flying off to help some of the rookie students.

laughing at Jeans joke Scott stood to admire her as she flew off, and almost got knocked of his feet by a sneaky robot.
"Zwap," went Cyclopses eyes, "man I'm gonna hear it from Logan if he saw that." Scott thought , he could just imagine what he would say.
gotta keep yur mind on things, this isn't a game.
"watch out kitty," Summers warned as he shot a robots arm out of the young mutants way.

"Behind you Bobby!" Jean cried and using Iceman as a weapon, hurled him into the robot trying to attack him. "Sorry," she said, "that didn't hurt did it?" she smiled. Seeing an assault coming from the left, she concentrated on the robot's legs and ripped them off with her telekinesis, incapacitating them.
Jean was steadily getting very tired, she knew they had been in here training for at least an hour and was wondering how much longer. She was anticipating getting that root beer float with Scott. "Hey, Logan, are we almost done in here?" she asked her ruthless trainer. Getting nno reply, she went over to Scott, "Do you know where Logan is, we've been in here for a..." but her sentence was cut short when a Sentinel was simulated in the middle of the Danger Room and began to fire at them. Jean knew that this was just a simulation, but she was beginning to worry if something was wrong.

Scott shrugged at Jean, but was starting to feel very anxious that maybe Jean was right and something was not right.
"I'll see if I can get up high enough to look in through the computer room above , maybe Logan is being uhhh detained...or had to visit the little x-men room," Summers joked, and blasted away at the fresh on slaught of simulated inturders.
Scott hoped he was right because he was tired to and was really ready to quit for the day.

"I'll take a look," Jean said and floated up towards the central computer room and was shocked at what she saw. "Logan!" she cried out, seeing the man laying wounded and unconscious on the floor with the controls and settings to the Danger Room aflame.
She turned around and shouted to Scott, "Scott, I think we're stuck in here, something's happened to Logan and the computer!" and with the finish of her sentence to the Sentinel had been fully simulated and began blasting away at the young mutants who were now seemingly trapped in the Danger Room.

"We've Got to get the children out of here!!" Scott shouted quickly blasting left and right to keep everyone safe. He coudl see the panic on there face and knew they had over heard He, and Jeans conversation.
"Jean can you call the professor, or something!!1" Scott shouted pulling the student from one corner to the next in an effort to find a safe place.
what a thing to say in the danger room.

She tried to communicate telepathically with the Professor but it didn't seem to be working. She tried harder once again and it was her powers backfired and sent her hurtling back. "Something is blocking my telepathy Scott! This is no accident, someone sabotaged the Danger Room on purpose!" The Sentinel sent a blast towards Nightcrawler and Jean stopped it before it hit him and managed to deflect it back towards the monstrous robot, which was able to stall the thing for a few seconds.
Iceman emerged on his ice slide, running into attacking robots, destroying them into tiny pieces. "Jean the next time you wanna use me as projectile, ask first!"
"Sorry Bobby, but as you can tell, we have bigger problems now!" Jean snapped back. "Help Scott with the kids!" she commanded.

Not used to being commanded but feeling no need to care about who told who to do what Scott nodded and shot of a few rounds with his eyes, in an effort to keep the students Kitty, Kurt, and Magma out of harms way.
"Bobby see if you can slow down some of those Sentinel's with your oce!" Scott called out, while he pulled over some scrapped robot to use as protection for his team.
"Jean we can't keep this up forever!" Scott said feeling like he was just stateing the obvious, "maybe you should try communicateing with Storm!"
Cyclops hoped that whoever was after them had not gotten to her.

"I'll try," she yelled, but wasn't optimistic about it all after what happened the last time she tried to communicate with someone outside the Danger Room.
Iceman placed his hands to the ground and yelled out, "Brace yourselves!" as he covered the entire floor with a sheet of ice, causing the Sentinels to lose their footing. He then shot some ice shards at them, but they weren't very effective. "Scott, shoot 'em!" he cried out hoping to catch the Sentinels off guard while they were struggling to regain balance.

"With pleasure my man!" Cyclops smiled shouting to Bobby and jumped out of infront of the stumbling Bots and shot them for all he was worth. "Like shoot'n a tin can," he playfuly said to Iceman trying to light'n the mood. "I am wondering who's doing this and if we should try to just blast a hole threw the wall and make our way out." Cyclops admited to Bobby.

"Beast would be furious, but he'd understand, I mean, we could die in here!" Bobby said. "I'll weaken the wall by freezing it and then you'll need to blast it with all you've got," Bobby said.
Jean hovered down to where Scott was, "I managed to contact Storm briefly, but I'm not sure if she could understand my message," Jean said as she was crushing simulated robots with her telekinesis. "I think whoever trapped us in here did so because they're still in the mansion and they're after something or someone," Jean said. "We've got to get out of her and find them"

"Sounds like a go to me then!" Scott said feeling courage and panic rise in his heart.
"Come on then X-men lets get ready to bust the head of whoever it was that locked us down here."
Turning on his lazer protective glasses to full power Cyclops gave a thumbs up to Iceman and shouted, "GO!" and let the ice covered wall have all the power he possessed in his eyes hit it with full force.
"Get ready once it crumbles we need to move fast!" He shouted to his team.

"Scott now, the wall has been booby-trapped," Jean warned but it was too late. Cyclops' beam hit the wall which then deflected it across to the opposite wall, bouncing around and around. Jean tried as hard as she could to protect everyone from Cyclops' deflected beams by controlling the beam's direction and speed.
"Great, now how are we going to get out of here?" Bobby said, his voice having a tone that made it seem like he gave up all hope.
