Tegwen paced through the fields, obviously disturbed by something. The small fawn had found herself in a rare situation for her; she craved the attention of a deer her own age. Normally, the albino was more than content spending her days grazing and talking with the hinds rather than romping with her fellow fawns. Today, however, she was tired of the hinds' constant gossip, and didn't care for the Corps' politics. For once, she wanted to be her age.
There was a problem with this, however. The fawn had become out of her element, searching for a calf to talk to, but only finding adults where she looked. She wasn't entirely sure where the others spent their days, for she rarely joined them in their explorations. She was a solitary creature, and usually preffered to map out the Home Oak alone, as opposed to doing so with a friend. This could, of course, lead to problems in her development, but does anyone ever really think of what their actions mean for the future? As Tegwen walked around the fields, she thought for a few moments that she really should spend more time with those her age, so that when she was a young doe she would have something to do other than gossip with the hinds. And this was the thought process that had lead her to seek out a fawn.
Tegwen finally quit her search, giving up on the matter. Perhaps she would just take a nap somewhere, and give the search to another day. She wandered around for some time, before finally deciding on resting by her favorite oak tree. Her small body dropped to the ground, her legs glad for the stop. She had been searching for a while, after all, and a fawn's awkward legs can only go so long without a break. She layed her head gentley on stretched forelegs, and closed her eyes, not really napping, but just soaking in the cool breeze. She was quite ready to spend her entire afternoon there, though a slightly more exciting chain of events was always preferable.

((*intimidated by largeness of post* eek ))
The calf stood rather proudly, his budding antlers glinting nicely in the sun of the day. He hadn't thought of socialising today, he was to busy enjoying the freedom away from his older cousin who had now grown into a Buck. And he, thankfully still a calf, but with the added bonus of growing antlers.
It was only as he moved across the fields and meadows of the Firebringer's land did he notice the form of young Tegwen, the female he had met along with many others just a few day's earlier.
A smile lit the calf's face and he pranced over, golden eye's scanning over the horizon before he stood next to the oak and glanced at her.
"Hi!" He said happily.

ooc :: it's only because it was the beginning post and I had to set up the setting. xD
The little fawn's eyes popped open at the sudden disturbance, her head shooting upwards, heart beating fast for a few moments. The flight instinct was kicking in, since it was obvious she couldn't fight much at her age. Her muscles grew tense and she moved her ears around in an almost paranoid manner. When she caught sight of Keir, however, her body dropped back to the grass with a thump, growing relaxed once more. "Hey there." She smiled lightly, beckoning him into the shade with her eyes. Perhaps she would do something today, after all. And Keir would be a great deer to do something with, as well, seeing as she already knew him and was semicomfortable in his presence. And those budding antlers, now that was impressive. "Nice antlers." She smiled, knowing well that young males were quite proud of their first heads.

((I am SOOOOOO SORRY KATER!! ;^; I am so bad for forgetting this!!))
Keir was a little suprised at the sudden reaction he'd gotten, but had to give a half hearted smirk at Tegwen as she realised it was him.
"Hey, Teg." He said calmly. The male smiled at the white fawn softly, moving into the shade at the beckoning call of her eyes and looked at her before moving to lay down at her side.
As she complimented his antlers, his ears perked up either side of the budding horns as he actually tried to roll his eyes to the back of his head to stare at them. However, he had to give a 'pffft' sound, making him sound a little like his now older cousin Ronno, but still fun loving as him.
"They're not so nice...anyway, what are you doing out here all alone?"

ooc :: ah, it's fine. :] we all do it sometime.
The fawn smiled kindley at Keir's bout of humility. At least he wasn't full of it, she mused. But she knew deep down inside that he mist be at least somewhat proud of the budding antlers, for it was what every calf was proud of, wasn't it? She shrugged off the matter, however, not entirely understanding a young male's love for his rack.
"Oh, I dunno really. I was looking for company; but I got bored with it pretty fast and decided to rest under my favorite tree." Her nose tilted upwords, towards the aged branches of the oak the were lying under. "As for being alone... I'm alone most of the time, really." She paused, not wanting to sound like an odd little one. "I'm not too big on the games my twin plays with the others. Even though she doesn't play with the others all that often either..." Her voice trailed off as she thought on the matter, realizing for the first time that she and Drys were antisocial. At least, in some respects they were. Perhaps it was their coats that estranged them from group games, or perhaps it was their past? Who was to really know?

ooc :: D8 I'm thinking this RP is dead, so I'm just going to have Teggers leave. <33
Turning her head at an unexpected voice, she looked sheepishly at the calf. "That's Dyani calling. She must want help with the new twins. I best get going." She smiled sweetly, comming up to a standing position. "I'll be seeing you around, yes?" At another call of her name, however, she could not wait for an answer, and had to bound off the hill. It was a little saddening that she couldn't stay with someone her own age, but it was exciting to help with the two new arrivals. She was growing more and more attatched to them by the day, and enjoyed helping in their care far more than Drystan did. Perhaps she would choose to do that as a doe, as opposed to assisting the old. Then again, the old storyteller might need her help sometimes. Who was to know? For now, she'd go help out her adopted mother and see Keir another day.
