Haha, in the Kairi bashing thread those "welcoming Kairi into their hearts" were told to make a Kairi supporting topic. So here it is. (Um, I don't think there is a topic like this yet, so if there is delete mine XP )
Anyways QUESTION!
1- Is it possible to be in love with RikuXSora and still LIKE Kairi?
For me, yes! What's your answer?
I mean, I am a strong believer that one needs specific reasons to hate someone, and hating some(or something for that matter) for their dress/attire, false information, or just for the sake of hating, isn't logical, and is therefore incorrect or two-faced. Many people that support RikuXSora hate Kairi because she "splits up their realationship". First of all, admit it, WHAT REALATIONSHIP?! RikuXSora isn't canon and it's not for sure if KairXSora is. Neither pairing is definite, and all three have been friends--- if she's splitting anything up, it's not her fault, because Riku and Sora WANT her around. Kairi hasn't done anything bad, wrong, cruel or stupid. She might sometimes state the obvious, and be a typical damsel, but at least she's SMART and strong willed. She's a great character, and one of the kindest---
So, I don't see how people could hate her.
Besides fangirlish based assumptions.

um i dont like kairi but without her everything would be different and she contirbuted to helping riku and sora stay apart until the right time in kindom hearts 2.5 na jk its just that she contributes to how relieved it is for them to make love in all the fanfictions and most of our fantasies=^.^=

Kairi's a fangirl. She held Riku and Sora's hands together, and that looked like she was saying "I now say you two are married," so she's a fangirl in my opinion. I don't hate her.

I didnt mind her in the second game, but i think she annoys me because shes always needing to be saved, one way or another. I mean, she spent the majority of the first game unconcious and shes still a main character?

She is sweet I wonder why or what the whole deal is it about. Maybe they don't want their precious SOra to be taken away?

Sora and Kairi as well as Riku and Sora don't seem to be canon at all. Because, Sora never confesses his love for either openly.
And being this is a Disney game, and rated E, not saying there is anything wrong with gay realationships, but it's probably not going to happen based on those two things alone. ALSO, if RikuXSora DID happen, the Americanized version would be changed, or that game wouldn't be realeased here at all, I guarentee that. Kairi couldn't HELP that her heart got stolen. ALL of the princesses hearts did. That's like saying, Sora was in a memory capsule for a year, why is he still the main character?
All in all, there is no logical reason to hate Kairi. :/ I'm still not seeing it.

Your dislike of Kairi seems sort of two-faced. ^^'
She contributes to RikuXSora, so I guess she's OKAY!
I don't see how that reasoning is logical. : O But oh well, you're allowed to think what you want.
Kairi can't help it if she's in the way of FANGIRL-ish thinkings. She's really not in the way of anything, your 'fantasies' are just making it seem that way. I think RikuXSora is perfectly reliable EVEN with Kairi STILL in the game. But maybe that's just me.

I don't think she's a fangirl. :/ She had to make Sora see what he couldn't. Kairi was able to see Riku, and Sora could not. This proves that Kairi is a lot more helpful, and a lot more aware than what most people think. Kairi in the first KH could tell that Sora was still Sora even when he was a heartless. She's got a certain serenity that makes her likeable.
She held ALL of their hands together, they were ALL being reunited again. Sora and Riku especially, she probably thought, because they had been apart the longest.

I don't hate her. I'm just not much of a Kairi fan. I've never really liked her in KH, but in KH2 we got to see a bit more of each of the characters personality.
And besides, without Kairi, Sora wouldn't have found Riku.

I give Kairi a little piece of my respect because to me she is like the heart of all of it. I think it is cute how Sora would do anything to save Kairi. I think those too have a strong bond, however I like more of the Sora X Riku action!

Personally, as also stated in the Kairi bashing forum, I stand Kairi because she is the whole reason that Riku and Sora are gay and together in the first place.

Everyone has their idealisms on characters from everywhere.
Thats what makes it so interesting.
I just wish people stop bashing eachother, and just Bash/Love the characters in a polite manner.
