There are too many different shades, and they don't look nice against each other. Judge 2 Color Scheme: 1.3/2 Matching: 1/2 Balance: .7/2 Creativity: 1.3/2 Comments: Well the greens that do match sort of blend in and aren't as noticeable because of how the ones that don't match just take up so much space and stick out. Judge 3 Color Scheme: 0/2 Matching: 1/2 Balance: 1/2 Creativity: 2/2 Total:4/8 Comments: no one can argue that this doesn't take just about every color involved and balance it, but there's just too much going on. it's too busy. everything blurs together, and the tealish blue on the sleeves of that shirt go unnoticed. certainly it matches for the most part, but it's trying to do too much. Judge 1 Color Scheme: 2/2 Matching: 1.5/2 Balance: 1/2 Creativity: 1.5/2 Comments: Very nice use of the sari and gwee, two very hard to pull off items. I think the sunflower and the red jewelry look out of place though. Perhaps a brown paintbrush instead of the flower, and the pinker toned bracelets to match the rest of that shade elsewhere on the avatar. Judge 2 Color Scheme: 1.8/2 Matching: 1.5/2 Balance: 1.4/2 Creativity: 1.8/2 Comments: Love the use of the sari. What does bug me however is how the jewelry doesn't blend in well with the mellowed out colors of the rest of the avatar. Judge 3 Color Scheme: 2/2 Matching: 2/2 Balance: 2/2 Creativity: 2/2 Total:8/8 Comments: this is one of those very simple but very expressive outfits. it has a lot to say and doesn't do it with too many items. it's very pretty and uncluttered, and I love the added touch of the bracelet and earrings to go with the usually-ignored beads on the bottom of the sari. lots of people use the saris as crutches and don't bother thinking about accessories, but it's got a ton of personality and subtlety. favorite avatar this round, I'm afraid! Judge 1 Color Scheme: 1.7/2 Matching: 0/2 Balance: .5/2 Creativity: 2/2 Total: 4.2/8 Comments:I like the use of the ducky hat, but there needs to be more brown in the avatar to coordinate the ducklings. Also, the neon green of the tail doesn't go with anything. Judge 2 Color Scheme: .8/2 Matching: .5/2 Balance: .6/2 Creativity: 1/2 Comments: The ducks are pretty random and their darker colors don't tie in so well. Judge 3 Color Scheme: 0/2 Matching: 0/2 Balance: 0/2 Creativity: 1/2 Total:1/8 Comments: I really don't like this one. there are like six different greens, and no distinction made or delineation between them. the brown goes unused and ignored, the tail is distracting and clashes, and it's so muddled and confused. but it's hard to use the ducky hat well, really. Even though it's using a set it pulls it off well. I like this avatar a lot. Judge 2 Color Scheme: 1.5/2 Matching: 1.8/2 Balance: 1.4/2 Creativity: 1.1/2 Comments: Cute gladiatoresque theme, but the expression which probably is some battle cry looks more playful. Judge 3 Color Scheme: 2/2 Matching:2/2 Balance: 1/2 Creativity: 2/2 Total:7/8 Comments: man, I enjoy avatars that have an immediately apparent theme. it's so simple and straight-forward and well crafted. you've made a great tunic and an even better harness, and the mouth is just perfect for the avatar. my sole worry is that there's a lack of green elsewhere, but it works for this. You echo each color on the avatar in other areas, even the neon greens and yellow. The only thing I would add would be the green laurels to bring a bit of that forest green tone up top between the black of the halo and the black of your hat. It's a bit setty, but you hardly notice it because it looks so great. Judge 2 Color Scheme: 1.6/2 Matching: 1.7/2 Balance: 1.8/2 Creativity: 2/2 Comments: Looks great. But you could've done well to ditch the halo as it doesn't contribute much help. Judge 3 Color Scheme: 2/2 Matching: 2/2 Balance: 1/2 Creativity: 1/2 Total:6/8 Comments: that's some serious matching! you've really gone the whole nine yards with the yellow, too, and that must've been really challenging. it could easily have been mucked up with two colors so close on the spectrum clashing, but you've used black to really make them pop better. it's a personal preference thing, but I really am not as enthusiastic about this one simply because it feels forced. I just don't like avatars that only use items because they match when they don't 'feel' right together. but hey, it does come together well.
