The Venetian Lagoon Hotel is a 60-room boutique hotel in Venice, each of its ten guest floors has a theme, designated after a major category of the Dewey Decimal Classification (the 5th floor, for example, is the 500s, the Sciences), with each room as a subcategory or genre, such as Mathematics (Room 500.1) or Botany (Room 500.004). (Dewey categories 000, 100, and 200 are placed on the 10th, 11th, and 12th floors, respectively.) Other room themes include Erotic Literature (Room 800.001), Poetry (Room 800.003), and Music (Room 700.005). All rooms have a small complement of books and decorations that accompany the theme, with 6000 books overall throughout the hotel.

Claudia walked down the stairs from her room to the main entrance. She took a deep breath and slowly walked to the door and exited the hotel.

Gabriel walked through the front doors, his hands in his pockets. He looked around as he walked, his eyes taking in everything. He sighed and leaned against the counter, waiting for someone to come ask if he needed anything.

"Yes you will"he says softly. Ryu kisses her passionately"I have something I want you to know ok, I'm a Lycan or werewolf as some call us. I know its crazy, but yeah its true. If anything from around here ever attacks you, tell them that Ryu the Lycan protects you. I just wanted to get that out before we went any further with this relationship"he says softly..

Sir... Sir? Can I help you? The clerk asks Gabriel, who was staring off in the direction the girl and lycan went. Eh? Yea... What room is that girl staying in? Gabriel motions in the direction Claudia went. Sir... I can't give you that... Gabriel turns and shakes his head. You'll give me her room number. Also, I want the best room you have. He moves his jacket a little, a glint of metal showing. The clerk nods and hands a piece of paper to Gabriel, as well as a key to the best room. Have someone bring my bags up to my room, they're outside. Gabriel laughs as he waves a little, twirling the key around on his finger as he heads to the elevator.

Claudia looked up at him skeptic.
"We'll go visit a shrink tomorrow..." she said, laughing as she opened the door and entered the room.

Gabriel gets off the elevator just a the lycan leaps from the window. Showoff... He sighs and walks down the hallway, stopping in front of Claudia's room. He knocks softly on the door, adjustin his leather jacket and red dress shirt with his other hand.

Gabriel slightly bows with his left hand across his midsection, his eyes never leaving hers. He extends his right hand, palm up, while still bowing. Good... evening, yes?

Gabriel sighs and straightens up, running his right hand through the hair on the back of his head. So, did you like that nightclub? He laughs softly and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a business card for the Vita e Morte nightclub. He holds it out to her with a soft smile on his face.
