The Hot Topic Foundation

At Hot Topic and Torrid, we believe music and the arts make everyone’s life a whole lot better, so we’ve decided to enrich kids’ lives by enabling them to express themselves musically and artistically!

The Hot Topic Foundation aims to support programs and organizations that specifically focus on encouraging and educating youth in music, creative writing, painting, photography, filmmaking and more. Besides, what kid wouldn’t want the chance to wail on a trombone, bang on some drums or paint a masterpiece?

If you'd like to make a donation, you can check out our Make A Donation Page, but what better way to contribute to such a worthy cause than with a bracelet or pin for a buck?

The rubber bracelets and pins pictured here are selling in stores and online for only one dollar and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Hot Topic Foundation. They're available in two styles: Music = Lifeâ„¢ and Rock The Artsâ„¢.

Also, feast your ears on the Metal = Lifeâ„¢ CD/DVD! This 3-disc set from Hopeless/Sub City Records features 33 songs and 18 videos from artists like Avenged Sevenfold, As I Lay Dying, Between the Buried And Me and tons more. Proceeds for this release go right to the Hot Topic Foundation, too! Bang your head for a good cause today!

<3 If you wanna find out what's behind these cold eyes

This is the best cause to donate to (In my personal opinion) because it does something for the musical aspect of our generation. Who knows, maybe our kids will invent some sort of "new and exciting" music. But they can't if we don't work to do something to set them up for it. Please. Donate. For the sake of the days when we have to listen to the next generation's music. For their next generation. For the future.

((wow. that sounded intelligent. I must be drunk or something. oh, well.))

FYI: I'm not a mindless teen zombie who hangs out at Hot Topic every day of their lives. I wish I could, but, sadly, no. I own 4 things from their store.
1. A Piano Key Belt
2. A Led Zeppelin T-shirt
3. MCR's New album "Black Parade" Limited edition version that cost me $46 of my hard earned cash
4. A keychain to support this foundation. they're soo cute >.<

But I'm doing this, spreading the awareness of this foundation, for the betterment of mankind.

You'll just have to claw your way through this disguise. <3

I thought that was cute, too. Now I really have to go to bed, or I'll fall asleep when I go to see the shrink tomorrow. Wish me Luck!

Wow... I've seen those bracelets before, and I just thought the "Hot Topic Foundation" was just Hot Topic, I didn't know that it was a real charity...

If there's ever been anything I've been serious about, this is it. I swear. This is a good cause, and I support it whole-heartedly.

Dude, chill out. What is your problem, it's a little way to support the arts. I admit, I do think Hot Topic the store is the devil, but this seems to be a legitimate cause. If you haven't gotten anything from them then I doubt you asked. Besides, it's an arts program, they aren't going to give you money reguardless of financial standing.

what's got your panties in a bunch? There's nothing in this topic against the TOS, maybe you should READ it before you start threatening people. You can't report people for disagreeing with you.

serioulsy man, I agree with newatreides here, quit being a dumbass. Hottopic does good things. Just because they don't support your music doesn't mean you need to be a jackass. They don't carry Trojan Records, but you don't see me bitching.

I still think Hot topic is over-rated and way to expensive. I think I'll just stick to thrift stores and clearance.
