In all honesty, he's actually a telepathic...a decendent of the ancient people of Atlantis. Strangely enough...this disobedient slave is one of the very few people who still have 'pure souls'.
Where'd the stubborn S.O.B come from?
Sold as a child from a poor village, he was adopted by a witch known as Rose Lynn. She placed the collar around his neck so that it would never be removed and then mysteriously died...or so Mikai wants to believe.
What makes him so a good choice?
You mean besides that he's a stud? <-J/K No...the collar around his neck reacts to his owner of the time's emotions. When angry, the collar will shrink and cut off his breathing. When depressed, the collar will pulsate as a type of warning. When in a good mood, the collar will fit like a necklace like it normally does.
