This was the wall of mountain faces that cut off the Suffering Lands from the Sand Storm Dunes. It was a simple landmark, where many of the Suffering Lands' Dragons came from. There were many caves cut deep into the mountains, and many of those led into the UnderDark. What many didn't know was that one peticular cave lead all the way into the Lost Complex, and even farther, into the Lost Citadel.

Black hooves clopped on the hard ground as a satyr-looking creature stepped upon it. She stood still and straightened her body, craning her neck to look about her. The land was a little different from her home, considering how there was a lack of grass and trees. She placed a hand over her forehead to shield her eyes and smiled. The sun was just now setting, casting a romantic glow of red and orange over the landscape before her. Never in her life had she been more at peace with herself since she left the temple. There was nothing bad about the place, mind you, she just preferred adventure.
Zarifa turned her head back around and continued the climb. Her zebra stripes on her bottom half glowed in the light cast by the sleeping sun, which made her stand out like a sore thumb against the mountain side. Suddenly, the zebra satyr heard something not far away, her ear twitching with instinct.
