The Valcano, much like the Platue of Dwarves, had been carved out to look like a dwarven idol. The one chizzled into the dorment volcano was the Fire God, Elyan. It was by far the largest volcano around, no others coming even close to it's height. The Mouth was also a ritual site for the blood-fire dwarves, very much so. They would cast their dead into the mouth, they would have weddings at it's edge, and it was where young dwarves were brought into their society as men. It was only a bit saddening when the volcano began to slow down, and never really exploded much anymore, not even spewing lava in at least ten years.
