A man dressed in what was once a Republic uniform appears on the channels. He is bleeding badly and appears to be missing one of his legs. His face is a mess of cut flesh and one of his eyes hangs from its socket. He's obviously not long for this life.
'They sent us....into...mountains.....to find......Ark. Beasts.....ambushed us......all dead..... found it I have....,' the man's ragged voice dies away and the image is replaced with that of the front half of a large transport wedged into the mountain side: The Genesis Ark, last known location of the designs for the ultimate assassin droid- the XG 3.
Co-ordinates follow, giving a location in the heart of the Mountains of Terror on Phobis 1.
((All faction leaders should assemble a strike team of no more than ten PCs or NPCs and send them to this Ark, to gain the valuable relic on board))

A pretty newsreporter appears on the holoscreen.
'Good evening, I'm Jirim Stanson bringing a breaking story.
The ravenous hordes of the Sycara have returned to Republic space once more, preparing to assault the planet Of Belugia.
In response to this threat the so-called Free Republic Forces,Sith, Hapes Consortium and Imperials have formed the New Galactic Alliance, combining all of their military strength in an attempt to save the galaxy.
In other news, the planet of Terra has been terrorised by rampant Republic military droids, who have been rounding up the inhabitants and taking them to secret installations for some unknown purpose. A few agents of the Free Republic Forces are trying to fight back, but they are severly outnumbered. In response to this call, Free Republic Force Supreme Commander, General Tasha Tel'verran had this to say.'
An image of Tasha appears on the screen.
'I call upon all resisdents of the galaxy to take up arms and fight against these threats. All those with their own ship should make their way to Belugia and join the fight against the Sycara there.'
The news reoprter appears once more.
'In response to this summons over 50 small Corvettes and almost 200 smaller vessels have assembled at the Republic planet of Yril, joining the Free Republic Forces fleet there in preparation to reinforce the Belguian campaign.'

This is Kuron Hardfel of the Inter galactic Comm Channels.
"We just got recent news of Emperor Nextoras, and Admiral Edson's victory a Belugia. About 25% of their fleet was lost from a suicidal Sycran charge wich resulted in their defeat. But a large part of the victory should go to the Hapans for arriving at their rear and helping the Alliance surround them."
A video shows the Hapan and Imperial ships and a few Rebel, blowing the Sycra fleet apart.
"But this victory has come with a price. The capital of Belugia was destroyed when the Sycra invaded and the Imperials were forced to fire down on the planet. But we did not kill all of them, as many Sycran armies still roam the planet, Imperial forces on the southern pole of Belugia set up their defences. Admiral Edson had this to say on the matter:"
"This one tragety shall be remembered as a day of sorrow. I am proud at the fact that we defeated the Sycra, and that we established an Alliance with most of the other powers. But this is something that I could never tolerate. Fireing down on a city with thousands of innocent people, this is almost a war crime. But we need to remember that this is the cost of war, and This war shall be a terrible one. That is all."
