 You smile seeing the small chairs and tables sitting outdoors. The chairs were pushed in neatly, and a candle was on every table. The soft light made shadows everywhere. A waitress in blue stood ready near the back. Smelling faint perfume, you step inside the cafe.

Noah sighed as she gazed out the window, watching the rain drum by. Raining for an hour about, and as light as the rain was, it didn't seem to want to leave just yet. And she was so close to getting to a coin purse too...and the blasted rain just had to come down at that moment, and it just had to splat on Noah, and she just had to give an abnormally large shiver which just had to grab the attention of the coin purse's owner. Noah gave another regreted sigh and scratched her neck. There went her dinner.

"AH-CHOO!!"
Jenny ran to and fro underneath the banisters of various stores, trying to get out of the rain as much as possible. Her hands rubbed her upper arms for warmth, her eyes staring suspiciously at the rainclouds above.
"You're all conspiring against me..." she cursed them.
Suddenly, a loud thunderclap made her jump and yelp, and she darted from underneath the banister of the Accessory Shop towards the welcoming sight of the open, warm cafe.
Rushing under the roof, she sat down happily in the chair while the waitress came over to take her order.
"Something hot, please," she requested, the waitress nodding and disappearing.
As she came back, Jenny gladly took a drink of whatever hot liquid filled her mug, her one unobscured eye taking note of the only other lifeform in this rather desolate cafe besides the waitress.

Rain~))
Noah cringed at the sound; more the sneeze than thunder. She hadn't even noticed someone walked in, more less order.
She stared longingly at the girl taking a sip from her mug, then quickly spun herself back towards the window appalled from her own behavior.
"How could I?" She whispered to herself. "She probably saw me! She probably thinks I'm a wierd stalker that strolls around cafes! Like I'm going to trail after when she leaves, herd her into a three-wall alley and take everything she has!" She curled her hand into a fist and shook it in front of her face. "Stop making yourself look like an imbecile!" she said louder than needed.

From the pouring rain Raye ran in, leaving footprints on the dry stone floor.
She panted when she stopped and looked around at the two girls already inside.
"I hate rain," she laughed. "Does, uh, anyone know the time?"

"Time for the rain to stop," she mumbled.

Raye laughed nervously as she undid her dripping ponytail.
"True," she said. "But the actual time? Do you have a watch?"

By the time the new girl finished talking Noah already shot up and directed herself in front of the girl. She whipped out her hands and waved them violently in front of the girl's face.
"See? No watch! See? See? See?!"

Raye flushed a deep shade of red, this being a habit of hers, and apologized profusely.
"I'm sorry! I didnt see your hands!" she bowed while saying. "I didnt mean to make you angry!"

Noah examined the girl's face as her eyes widened. She quickly folded her arms and lowered her head to the ground.
"It's not right for someone to bow to someone else younger than them," she mumbled sheepishly.

Utterly shocked and confused by this girl's outburst, Raye muttered slowly, "I'm nineteen?"
Who is this girl? Raye thought, frightened.

"Yeah, I know you're older!"
She lifted her head to look directly into the girl's. After a few moments she spun around and trudged back to her booth, plopping into her seat.
Her eyes were still upon the girl's face and Noah stuck out another hand, pointing to the seat across.

By this time, Raye had backed up several feet. She had no clue what this girl was going to do next, and she hoped Cloud [ whee ] would come along soon.
"You... want me to sit down?"

"I know you're older," she repeated. "So you should--"
Noah clamped her mouth shut and paused to think, soon turning her attention back to the girl.
"So you should sit down, and let me treat you," she said, as an abnormally large smile slid across her face.
