The miles of graveyard left the lich's vision as he rushed back inside, the coming of day upon him. He slid down the steps, a maggot crawling into his mouth, and was quickly eaten by undead teeth. The Lich King made his way farther down, until he got to a floor were there were many rooms. Passing down the main hallway he came to the great hall of his tomb, an alter to Narxuel in front of it; pillars lining the room. He sat down on a bench in the front, and closed his eyes. The Lord of Death had given him eternal life, at a cost physically, but all the Necromancer wanted was to know, so it mattered little to his decaying body.
