Here we'll begin our tale. We'll start with the the current discussion of the crisus of the rumored plotters. To us, it's like looking back upon the events that had happened so long ago. Here's what happened:

"HIIII--YAH!!!" WOOSH! "Take that! You evil creep!" BAM!! Bonk! The sounds of someone crashing into the side of a building and the signpost falling down upon that person's head. "If i catch you here again bothering these people, I swear! I'll have your head!" The guy scrambled out of there with his buddies. The woman, who had taught those scorpions a lesson, grinned. An old man looked up at her."At least we've got a brave girl here....unlike some of our men...."He shot that comment towards the grown men who had hid behind the mares and stalls. "Sir. It wasn't much of a problem. For a spider like me, i'm willing to help my kingdom in any way i can."She grinned some more with her right hand on her spear and her left hand on her hip. She was the prize of the little village near the border. She had come here in search of scorpions who were busy bullying the townspeople. She knew she'd get paid well to help.

Allion watched the excitement from afar, her hood shading all but her chin and under her nose, a smirk plastered on her face. Her right hand held an old walking stick, while her left was occupied twirling a strand of her milky white hair around her fingertips. Her hair was white through an accident with the spells, it was one of the firsts she had ever done, though her instructor had warned her against it. Spilling an extra ingredient in the mixture that was supposed to make her have super-strong hearing upon drinking it, instead turned her hair completely white, down to the roots. Allion herself didnt mind the change so much, it set her apart from all the other Owls under her instructor, made her different. "As long as there is money for your services." She hissed, coming out of the shadows. Allion had a way about her that instilled fear in most people, perhaps it was her air of command, the way she spoke with an indifferent and cold air, or perhaps it was her cold, spiteful eyes, glaring at all from beneath her hood. "Spiders," She spat, "Only seem worthy and heroic enough as long as they get their pay." It was all a game to her, Allion smiled sarcastically as she spoke. Allion took nothing seriously, and loved to provoke people.

((talking to me, right?))
Samah turned and glared at the owl."I'm not all bad. You make me out like a bad guy. So what if i request money for my services? At least it can help those in need. Not every Anidomainian is good you know."She had been looking the owl up and down, still not sure what she was.'That tattoo would be very handy, right about now.'

[[Yeppers. mrgreen Just trying to stir up trouble, you know. whee Maybe even start a fight.]]
Allion grinned. "Aye, you make a good point." Seeing the way the spider looked at her, and the way a few straying villagers had been eyeing her, Allion made a low, highly exaggerated, sweeping bow. "Allion Nawin, at your service," She introduced herself, then continued, "And my services wont cost you a thing." Though her owl tattoo was in plain sight, her other was always hidden. Allion had never been proud of her beginnings, and so she always wore tall boots and long skirts. She didnt want anyone to know she was once a rat. By birth, not by choice, She told herself.

((randomosity: histarical)) Finally Samah caught sight of the tattoo.'An Owl!!'She grimaced. 'I knew there was something fishy about her.'"Hmph. Like you're one to talk. The only reason you don't need to be paid in the villages for money is because the palace cats do it for them. They pay you instead, and for a much higher price than most spiders."'That should put a thorn in her shoe.'"Samah. Samah Chase."Thump. Thump. Thump The sounding drone of marching through halls could be heard. 'So much to do, and so little time.'

Allion smirked. Ouch. Painful. But, still smiling that sarcastically sweet smile dripping with hatred, "For your information, I dont get paid even half a copper coin." Though she didnt want it to be known that she was still only an apprentice, it was the only comeback she could think of at the time.

She lightened at this."So. You're a terrible owl. Not being able to conjure proper spells and things, you've barely been able to get by. Well, that says a lot!"She smirked with intensity."At least my skills come in handy. Unlike, some."She gave a sidelong glance at her."Well, since you'r gonna need the money more than i. I mind as well set off and let you have some fame here, for once..."She turned her back on her and moved on down the road away from the owl, and away from the direction the scorpions had taken.'At least i don't have it as bad as her.'She grinned.

Allion seeped with rage at that. Though she was forbidden by her instructor to use any of her spells outside of her classes, she was too angered to heed his words. Not like she ever did, anyway. A whispered word, and Samah's own shadow was given new life, wrapping around her legs slowly to keep her from walking further.
Tatiana, concealed in her deep purple cloak and barefoot, as always, walked through the streets aimlessly, watching for anything interesting to amuse her. She was often wandering the streets of the city, though she was forbidden to leave the palace.

Samah was raised to alarm."What the--"She squirmed and lifted, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free."What is this?! Haven't you ever been told not to attack someone when their back is turned?!"She bellowed. She tried to see the one who'd captured her in this evil trap."This is not reasonable! I never laid a single finger on you! and you go and use your puny magic to get back at simple words i've said."
"One of the princesses is missing!!"The roar of the call could be heard through many of the halls.'hmm...doesn't she ever learn? Back to the village...'He was able to slip away from the other guards and take a hidden passageway through the palace and out into the stables. He grabbed his, always ready, horse and galloped off towards the nearest village.'Will she ever learn?'

Allion pretended innocence. "But," She said, her voice sarcastically sweet and, "How could I do that? My spells are all so puny and weak, and I never get them right." Her odd little laugh could then be heard, her hood falling backwards in the process, no longer hiding her pale face. As she laughed, the shadow began to wrap itself further and futher up Samah, until it was just under the neck. Allion walked casually over to Samah and looked her in the face, stared at her with her icy gaze. "Your words sting, they hurt my fragile pride," Allion whispered, grinning spitefully, "Why should I not be given the opportunity to hurt yours?"
Tatiana was walking through the market now, looking at a stall of apples, eying one particulary large and juicy one hungrilly. Nothing she ate at the palace suited her taste, she prefered the simple food.
Keaton, always ready for incidents like these, got to his horse at the first sign of alarm and waited for the incompetant stable boy to tack him up. "On second thought, boy, it'd be quicker if I walk." He grinned, then set off to go search for the missing princess.

Samah sniffed."Too bad my pride left before you came!"She gave an anguished grin and looked around. She tried to do some figures in her head, to help her get out of the situation, but nothing came to mind.'Curses! This witch is evil! maybe i should've killed her on the spot.'
Clomp, clomp, clomp! His horse's hoofs could be heard galloping upon the unpaved ground. He'd steer his horse's reins left and right, going through alleys and shorter short cuts. He just had to find her before someone else did. He needed to talk to her. Getting her alone like this, was usually a miracle.

Allion clenched her fist, the shadows squeezing tighter for a moment. "I have nothing against spiders, you see," She whispered, leaning in a bit closer, "I just needed someone to test my spells on, and you seemed like the perfect choice." Her grin grew, and her right hand pulled the necklace away, breaking the fragile chain. With this necklace, a simple glass orb in the form of a hollow tear drop, Allion held it against Samah's forehead, still grinning maliciously. "I wont kill you, since you do so much to help keep us free from scorpions. I will only take a bit of your shadow, not the whole thing." Her grin grew, "It's so very useful, having a bit of someone's soul." Taking the necklace away from Samah's forehead, the glass orb was now full with a strange dark grey whisp. "Thank you for your time. I'll be leaving now."
Tatiana paid the man for the apple and walked off again, wandering around the streets, munching the apple as she went.

Samah gasped as she was released. She couldn't even think, she was made to be a fool or a weakling before all those people, she was gasping and shaking. She couldn't stand losing, only this time she was afraid, maybe for a bit, but still afraid.'Par---part of my...soul? That...that can't be possible!'Her brain screeched and stuttered. She finally gained enough strength to stand up and take hold of her spear. She went on her way, passing people-not looking at them, and went on her journey. Searching for those vile scorpions.'One day, i'll get her for this!'She vowed in her head.
He reached the village.'Finally.'He looked about, searching, observing everything in sight. He walked through the town square searching and searching. There was a time when he thought he found her but was dreadfully shown that he had mistaken this old hag for one so beautiful. 'Where is she--'He spotted her.'This time, you're not getting away from me!'Though his facial expression showed no signs of feeling his brain and thoughts were bursting with emotion. He got down from his horse, which was still un-named, and guided it over to her.'Eating and apple, so simple, so like her.'

Allion grinned as she watched Samah walk away. "It's so much fun to scare them." She giggled to herself. She hadnt really taken a part of Samah's soul, she was not nearly that strong. Allion had simply taken a bit of Samah's shadow, enough to fill her orb.
Tatiana took another bite out of her apple and smiled. I knew it wouldn't last forever. She thought as she watched one of the guards walk towards her guiding his horse.
