Main Plot

Many eons ago, in the early days of our solar system's life, the twelve Star Tribes (the signs of the zodiac) were gathered in the form of twelve constellations to watch over the Earth. You see, our planet has more "cosmic energy" (the energy required to sustain life on a planet) than any other in the universe. However, fearing that the humans would misuse all this energy for selfish purposes, the Star Tribes thought it best to leave them oblivious to the fact. However, there were a few of the other planets who wanted Earth's energy for themselves. So to ensure Earth's safety, the Star Tribes each granted a sample of their power to twelve individuals at birth, that these twelve would all grow to become guardians of Earth.

White List

For all the good little boys and girls who follow this thread's rules. When you join I will start you off here, but as you start breaking rules you will be temporarily dropped to the grey list and if it gets too far you will be sent straight to the black list.

Black List

For all the VERY bad members who just won't listen to the rules. These people are banned from this thread unless stated otherwise.

Power Sets

I've created fixed sets of powers for each sign based on aspect/element and on the sign's ruling planet. Typically all signs will have one elemental power (aspect/element) and one planetary power (ruling planet):: (Bold means the position is filled)

Aries (Cardinal Fire, Mars): Controls flames, and can convert flames into any weapon they choose. (No really powerful weapons, i.e. bazookas, will be allowed as it encourages godmoding)
Taurus (Fixed Earth, Venus): Can enhance their own strength and endurance, and can convert light into tangible objects. (No really powerful weapons though)
Gemini (Mutable Air, Mercury): Can temporarily transform themselves into the element air, and has telepathy.
Cancer (Cardinal Water, Moon): Can control all forms of water, and possesses healing powers and, occasionally, foresight.
Leo (Fixed Fire, Sun): Can shape-shift, and controls all forms of light and heat.
Virgo (Mutable Earth, Mercury): Can temporarily become an entity of any form of earth (stone, plants, etc.), and is telepathic.
Libra (Cardinal Air, Venus): Controls wind, and can convert light to tangible objects. (Again, nothing too powerful allowed.)
Scorpio (Fixed Water, Pluto): Can phase through solid objects, and controls shadows.
Sagittarius (Mutable Fire, Jupiter): Temporarily shape-shifts into an entity of fire, and controls lightning.
Capricorn (Cardinal Earth, Saturn): Can control anything to do with the element earth (rocks, plants, etc.) and can also "magnetize" their limbs to any surface. (This lets them walk up walls and the like.)
Aquarius (Fixed Air, Uranus): Has super-speed, and can produce powerful energy blasts.
Pisces (Mutable Water, Neptune): Can temporarily become the element water, and can manipulate the forces of the ocean (telepathy with marine animals, control over water (liquid form only), and so on.)

Personality- She is sensitive but not to the point of silliness. She jokes and laughs but when something is wrong she will be deadly serious.
Bio-When Whisper was born her parents, the Pharoah and the Pharoah's wife of a world based around Ancient Eygpt, had a prophet read Whisper's future, only to be horrified when he told them that she had the Arie Star tribe resting within her. The Pharoah sent Whisper away with his wife to be slaughtered. Although he loved them both, Whisper was tainted so her Mother must be to blame. He told his soldiers to leave them in the dryest of deserts to die. Whisper and her Mother survived for several years until Whisper was 15. They both journeyed into the city, confident that people would not recognise them. They didn't. But Whisper and her Mother fell victim to a brutal rape attack which left Whisper's Mother for dead and Whisper heavily wounded. After dragging herself to a near by hostel the Sorceress' there cared for her.

Personality: Highly intuitive and sensitive to others' emotions. Sometimes too much so, and can also be very lazy and naive.
Bio: When Celeste was born, the planet Aridor detected the Cancer Star Tribe imbuing its power into her. One of their generals, Maanin, attacked the Hayes residence in an attempt to kill her before her powers could be realized. Luckily, another planet, Zaterra, discovered this, and Jalek, a Zaterran soldier, left to stop Maanin personally, confronting him under the guise of a police officer (Kirk Jones). He saved baby Celeste's life that night, but at the cost of his own.
Still unaware of Jalek's true origin, the Hayes family had Jalek buried in an Earth cemetery, and on Earth and Zaterra alike he is still praised as a hero. Celeste continues to visit his grave today, living an otherwise normal childhood.
