Anrea didn't know why she chose that day to get up early. It kind of just happened. And Jitka was up, too. And Devika would probably be getting up soon. While Touma and Mirek were nowhere to be found. Hopefully everything was alright with them--they seemed to spend a lot of time missing nowdays, but whether they just seemed to have the same idea, and leave at the same time, or leave together, she didn't know.

It was still early after she and Jitka and Devika had all finished eating, and no sign of Mirek and Touma. She wanted to find them, but she had already told them about her plans for today, and if they would rather stay at the shop than come visit her family, that was fine. They had already met her family before, anyway, and it was probably best, considering everything that was going on with those two at the moment.

"Oy, Tails, you up?" Anrea asked, not quite sure where the wolf-girl had gotten off to. They had agreed to take this journey together, and Anrea wanted to start it now, before she gave into the urge to hunt down Mirek and Touma. They could take care of themselves, she knew, but she still had to wonder just what they were up to as they kept disappearing more and more frequently.

"Yeah. It shouldn't take us that long, but it's good to have enough stuff, just in case." She had packed enough clothes, and some extra food, and that was really all that was needed. Hopefully, they could catch some stuff on the road, but if not, her supplies ought to last them until they got there. It was a one day trip to her house, more or less, and another day to get to where Tails lived. Even if they didn't have anything to eat, they should be fine, really.

Jitka was excited to meet Anrea's family. She had never seen Anrea's house before, and she imagined it as an exact copy of the shop. But she had no idea what Anrea's parents were like, because they were adoptive parents, and not blood family. But they had to be good, if Anrea was going home, and family was always good, anyway, adoptive or not.

Devika perched on her mother's head, staring at everyone moving around. She didn't know what exactly was happening, and it looked like something big, so she wanted to be a part of it, too.

"Can't find Mirek or Touma, so I guess they're staying, since I told them that we're going today..."

She didn't want to have to leave either of them behind, but it was their decisions, and she couldn't force them. And she did have to admit to herself that it might be better for them to have a few days without her constantly hovering over them. She acted far too much like an over-protective mother, especially considering that not only were they both fully grown up, they were two of the oldest Koivou in the shop. They could take care of themselves. Really.

She still didn't want to leave them behind.

Jitka was up by now, and excited to finally meet Anrea's family. Mirek and Touma had both met them before, but that had been before she had joined the family, and she felt a bit left out.

She wondered what Anrea's family would be like. They weren't blood-family, so how different would they be from Anrea? Would they look anything like her at all? Would they act like her? What were they like?

They had to be good, though, because they were Anrea's family, and thus her family, too.

Devika opened an eye sleepily, not sure why Mommy was so excited. What was happening? She couldn't see anything, so she closed the eye, and snuggled closer to her brother. She was exhausted from playing last night, and she just wanted to sleep.

Jitka loved cupcakes. They were so fluffy an creamy and yummy and they were the best things ever ever ever!

"You are not getting a cupcake until after you've eaten breakfast," Anrea told Jitka. For someone who was a mother, Jitka still acted very much like a kit at some times. Most times. Almost all the time, really...Anrea was glad Jitka had ended up with Mayes: they complimented each other nicely, and she could count on him to keep an eye on Jitka when she had to worry about Mirek and Touma. Which was starting to be far too often.

"Potatoes!" Anrea would have pounced on the potatoes, but Jitka bit on the fabric of Anrea's pants, keeping the fox-girl from pouncing on the yummy things.

"But potatoes!" Anrea whined to Jitka.

Jitka told Anrea.

"Meanie. You're not allowed to use my own advice against me!"

Jitka gave Anrea one of those "behave or ELSE!" looks, before going to wake up her daughter. Jitka poked Devika gently, hoping that her daughter would get up soon.

Anrea sullenly munched on her eggs while she waited for Jitka to wake Devika up, and for Tails to finish the potatoes. She wanted potatoes now.

Devika scooted away from whatever was poking her, but she couldn't go too far, because someone was lying right next to her, and so whoever it was just kept poking her. She opened a blue eye sleepily, and stared at an orange paw. Mommy? Why was Mommy making her get up, when she was so tired after playing with her brother all of yesterday?

Jitka told Devika, when she saw that her daughter was awake. Jitka stared at Devika, to make sure that she was getting off of Pillow Mountain, before she headed towards the plates of food that Tails had laid out for them, hoping her daughter would eventually follow.

"Mayes, stop running, a little bug spray won't kill you!"



Gouka and Mayes burst into the shop. In one hand the boy held a spray can and in the other a lasso, which he clearly had no clue how to use.

"Hi 'Rea, Tails!" He greated both of them with a nod and continued to chase the gray koivu around the room, up the stairs, then down again.

There was a burst of pillows as Takumi unearthed himself from the mountain of plush, shivering slightly when exposed to the cooler air. What on Gaia was making such a ruckus this early in the morning? Didn't they know some people where still trying to sleep? He glanced around the shop, a scowl on his face. He was definitely not a morning kit.

Oh. Well, that explained it, then. Takumi let out a sigh upon realizing that it was indeed Gouka and his father creating the stomping sounds. Nothing threatening in the least...except for the can of something the boy held in his hand.

<'Rea, tell Gou that I am not a guinea pig, and don't need bug spray!>

"Yes you do! The mosquitos were swarming around you!"



"That's another story!"



"'Rea!"

<'Rea!>

"But, 'Rea...! What'll I do if Mayes gets bug bites all over him? Or catches some nasty disease?" Gouka pouted, crossed his arms, but no longer aimed the nozzle at Mayes. "You never know nowadays, with this screwed up ecosystem and all."

Mayes scoffed slightly, still keeping his distance from the boy. Sure, Gou looked like he had given up...but he did prove to be a quick-draw at times. At least, with a slingshot and rocks he was.

"You're not worrying enough, is what I think - oh, I smell food."



"Oh, you shush."

Takumi rolled off of the pillow mountain, hopped to his feet, and chased after his sister. Whatever it was she was eating, it looked good, and he was hungry.
