The cell door was open, as it had been for years now....It was actually beginning to rust alittle, Keira noticed, sitting at her desk and looking at the cell with interested eyes. She had chosen this cell in particular to make into her own little playpen for a ver specific reason....
It was right next to the cell that had once been that of the very founder of the asylum, Arkham.She didnt dare take his cell, not after seeing the writing on the floor that she recognized all too well. Symbols, runes, spells, she had studied them as if they had been actual subjects on her own time.

Keira snapped out of her little reviere for a minute. She thought for sure that she had heard something moving around...Then again...She was in an asylum...Maybe it was just one of the lower level homocidal inmates gone loose, stalking around for a fresh young lady to kill....No worries...

Keira... a voice seemed to drift into her head. True, it was an asylum, but...
Keira! the voice snapped in a loud whisper as Crane appeared in the doorway.
Her father came towards her. "Hey. I snuck up here...what are you doing?"
Kill him...kill the man... the voice whispered urgently.

Keira looked ahead while hearing the voice, then saw her dad, his voice was real...The voice in her head didn't sound like one of the ones that usually told her to do evil things...No it sounded new...Different, she wondered who or what it was. She blinked and tweaked a sly smile.
"I was...Er..." She had to try hard to find an excuse "...Finding a quiet place but..."

"I wanted to see Arkham's cell, that's not the issue right now, Dad--" She wondered if maybe saying this was going to get her her own cell for real for the second before replyin. "--A voice is telling me stuff. And It's not like most of the other voices...."

Crane's face melted into concern. He made his way to Keira and sat beside her. "...what are they saying? Who is it?"

Keira blinked, looking to the floor now, wondering a crazy little idea and if it wouls actually work...
"I don't know...I can usually tell who tehy are, but this one sounds weird..." She said, looking at the floor with a slight glint now. She indeed wanted to know who it was, but was afraid to trigger anything.

No, Keira...you don't have to. I'll tell you who I am. I'm Arkham, the founder of this asylum. You have to do me a favor. Kill the man in front of you. The way he runs my asylum is disgraceful.

She thought she must have been going insane for sure, but even Keira knew that there was great possibility that the founder's soul was still in the building, possible because of what she had noticed when most people didnt...
"......I guess respect for the dead would be wise...." She mumbled, looking at the floor with wide eyes.But he's my dad...

Yes....He can understand me....
Without a word to the material world, Keira slid off her seat and kneeked on the ground, pulling out a permanent marker, she looked down at the floor while she began to do something that she hadnt expected of herself...
She drew a single eyes on the ground, then went to make a circle outside of it, on the circle she made a Y with a line between to horns, a horizontal line next to it and she continued, making the runes she could remember for protection and peace.

Crane was perplexed at Keira's actions. "What...?"
What are you doing, child? Stop that at once! Oh...fine. I didn't want to do this...I'll just take over your body and MAKE you kill him!

"No!" Keira dropped the marker half way through making the thron for the most defense she could think of, or could remmeber from the books she had been diving through iin her room. She had never been so grateful for her sensei insisting on training for that kind of invasion as well. Keira stood up and went to stand againt the wall, seeing things in her symbols.
