Final Fantasy 12 came out yesterday and i was just wondering what people thought of it.

due to a kidney infection i havnt been able to pick up my reserved copy yet so id like to know peoples opinions as well

im gonna go pick my copy up after work today so ill play it and let ya know
im gonna lose faith in Square-Enix if this one isnt good sad and thats sad since I love thier games

from what ive seen and played it look good and the story line accutally is a story unlike doc, but that my opinion

Ive played about 6 hours into the game and so far I am really enjoying it. The opening sequence was excellent something that started with 8 and has kept on going strong. Despite the change in the battle system so far this feels very much like a Final Fantasy. I like the fact that they returned to calling the summons Espers. Also there are orginal scores in the game from Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 4, and Final Fantasy 6 when I heard a couple of them I was stoked.
If you are a die hard Final Fantasy fan you should be able to tell that most of the music (except things like Eyes on Me from eight and so forth i said most not all) in the final fantasy games are simply variations of the music from another Final Fantasy game as well not that im complaining mind you, personally I think Final Fantasy has some of the best video game music out there.

their is only one thing i dont like all the classic summons from the recent final fantasy series are not in ff 12 and to me that is kinda dissapointing

Iloveff their is only one thing i dont like all the classic summons from the recent final fantasy series are not in ff 12 and to me that is kinda dissapointing I havnt gotten to the summon part but did they not at least include Ifrit, Bahamut, and Shiva? because if they didnt ill be shocked considering those summon have been in every final fantasy game since 4.

Yes, my friend has the stratagey guide and their not listed, the summons dont exist their the names of the ships but, Infrit, shiva, bahuma and the other classics are not in the game itself their just the name of the ******** ships in the emperial army and it kinda pisses me off since my favorties summons arent thier

wow im surprise at that and a little upset about it i mean come on nearly 6-7 games later and they take out the three most popular summons
is there a person named cid in the game? cuz if they dont do that one ill be shocked too. I really need to keep playing it havnt got a chance over the week due to finals weeks in school.

yes their is a cid in 12, doctor cid but i dont know his role in the story much, i also hear their is another cid but i dont really know

I got the game and it is friggen sweet blaugh , the summon part is pretty cool, but i miss the old summons gonk , there are actually 2 Cids in it, 1 is Dr. Cid who is a crazy xd son of a gun, and there is Al-Cid which to me means alternative Cid, he is good but he is barely in it, the battle system is awesome xd as well, i love how you can just run around, and im about 25 hours neutral in to the game, yes i no i have no life
