I love anime. Dont watch it as much as I would like, and its hard to actually get what you want that isnt dubbed horribly, but overall when I get what I want I love it.
I am currently keeping up with Bleach and Naruto ( newest episodes when they come out and subbed ).
Favorites include- ( in no particular order )
Trigun
Evangelion
Escaflone was good
Photon
FLCL
Flame of Recca
Kenshin
Great Teacher Onizuka
Im sure there are more out there, that was just a small list of ones I have liked before my boss walked in xp xd

my favorites are:
Escaflowne ("Van-sama")
Trigun (touches Vash...*shudders*)
Macross 7 (Ph33r teh BOMB-AR)
Magic Knights of Rayearth (ok I'm a girl and its pretty)
Kino's Journey (episode 2 was really interesting)
and well Totoro.. soo fuzzy
I really suggest that newbies to anime look into the classics there is some killer (literally and figuratively) stuff in the ROOTS.

I agree, though the stories and jokes tend to be very corny at times. Enough that if I hadnt watched the "classic" when I was younger, its hard for me to get into it if it's an older anime.

Anime= not something I enjoy much. I of course like more traditional cartoons.
I will watch Japanease shows though. I love the game shows from there and Iron Chef!! HIYA CUSINE!!!!!!
That show is like anime with real people and food you can eat.....yum! 3nodding

lol if it was like anime, they would jump in the air and do amazing things with martial arts and weapons that look really really cool!
Then, then the food would be done in an amazingly fast time!

Thats an hour for 5 dishes of foodzors! Can you do that? There was an anime like Iron CHef, short lived and little known. Woodon Warriors or something like that. The food they made came to life and battled each other. Wierd yet true.

Hmmm...(all english subtitled)
I like Cardcaptor Sakura in the original japanese, because the American version is waaaaay suckified,
Inuyasha in japanese isn't half bad either,
FLCL,
Cowboy Bebop...
and I DESPISe Paranoia Agent...
HATE IT!
But anyways, yeah... 3nodding
OH!!! And Tenchi Muyo! That one is my favorite because it was my first 3nodding
