Some manga is just plain better than their anime counterparts. What manga have you read that you prefer over the anime?

I have two. One is His and Her Circumstances. The anime is really good and comes in just one point behind in my book, but the manga was more in depth and continues the story longer. (I know that is because the anime finished before the manga did.) The other one is Saiyuki, which I am really saddend at how the anime turned out. The manga is so beautiful and really well done. But in the anime, they reused alot of animation and their is alot of still images. Felt like they just slopped the anime together to get more money out of the series and I hate when they don't make it as quailty as they can.

Well I basically watch anime but sometimes I read Manga and its really interesting, but the only Manga I find interesting is either Dragon ballZ or Naruto, the rest is just basically the shows.

I preffer DNAngel as a manga ^_^ And Fruits Basket, because it continues longer as a manga.

Yeah, DNAngel is better as a manga... And I hear the Fruits Basket manga is really good and has much more to it than the anime!! ^ ^

ninja Naruto- This manga is WAYYYYY better than the anime. Especially the english dub.

Bleach- The manga is better because there aren't any fillers. ninja

One Piece, 4kids basically destroyed it. BoBoBo is also better, in one of the manga Yugi comes out of his fro. xd

hmm, this is hard. cause a lot of the manga i've read i haven't seen the anime. chobits! and DearS. definietly. the manga is way better than the anime.

as for the naruto, the fight scenes i would defenitely like to watch the anime over the manga. granted there is more emotion in the manga, but the fighting looks so much better.

At first, I prefer watch Anime, because Anime is "animated" you know wink
But sometimes, there are some stories which are not released in Anime storyline, so, it's can be possible that I read manga too, but I prefer Anime at first ^^

Chobits as a manga was much better than the anime. The anime took forever, and I had to force myself to watch it... What happened in maybe 5 or 6 half an hour episodes I could read in 1 volume which would take, maybe an hour or so.
