What's going on? Not many ppl are paying attention to much of what's going on in the guild. That makes me wonder if I wasted my time and effort on raising the funds and working on this guild

I was hoping the banner would help advertise, but I'm the only one with it on my sig right now. This is also a new forum guild addressing an important need , but also a sensitive one. We will need to be patient until someone gathers enough courage to share in these forums and seek help.

Look guys, I spent over 50k on this guild (including donations and the money needed to start the guild) and i've began to wonder if this was a good use of gold

It's as good of a use as you want to make it.
No guild became large without advertisers.

Make sure you're advertising this guild in the guild advertisment forum. That's one of the ways I got Not to Us going. Also, send a pm to your friends@gaia telling them about it. If people are looking depressed, pm them and tell them about this guild.
And most importantly:
PRAY!
That's the most vital thing, and without it, my guild we be nowhere. Everytime Not to Us was dying, I'd ask God to rejuvinate it if it would be His Will...and every time He did! Without God, Not to Us wouldn't be where it is today. Praise the Lord! blaugh
