Strangely enough, even though the Hook Coast was close to the cold Ocean of Chaos, there was still a more northern edge of the land that bore a dangerous area, all burnt mountain covered in ash. It was The Fire Pits, pools of never-cooling lava pools and amazingly huge volcanos in the area, though some were dorment. They say there were small tribes of Blood Fire Dwarves that would live in caves inside the dorment Volcanos. A lot of Astrodoth's gossip was still unknown to it's inhabitants however, as no one knew if it was true.
