--High Profit Sura

This was the largest of temples that the Sun Goddess held, a capital of sorts to the religion. It was here that the High Profit made her home. Sura sat in the tallest tower's largest room at the very top floor, a stairway to the roof where she prayed during the day. She stood up, being mid afternoon, and walked up the steps, looking at the beautiful land of Elfwood. She saw the trees, the grass, the mountains, the far off walls of far off towns. She kneeled down in the middle of the painted dun that shined and glowed during the day, holding her hands in front of her draconic features and praying silently. The winged half-dragon smoothed out her robes, holding her hands up to the skys, and looked directly at the sun for several moments. She wasn't blind, for the smoothing of her robes was part of the spell that further protected her eyes, so she could see the perfect roundness of the sun, of Krimaria. She walked down the steps into what seemed now like a pitch black room, though it quickly turned into a nicely sunlit circular chamber, winds blowing in from the open windows. She loved being this high, continued to look out the window for several minutes, watching the things below her.
