The game is simple enough. One person describes a situation and then provides 2 or more options for the next person to choose from to continue the story. The next chooses an option, then presents another situation and some more options to choose from.

for example:
person 1 - You look round the corner and there is a dark door up ahead.
do you:
1.) get out a torch and step forward
2.) turn around and run

person 2 - get out a torch and step forward. When you get to the door you see that you need a key. do you:
1.) take the one you picked up earlier
2.) decide that this really is too spooky and head for another passage
3.) try to pick the lock

ok..here's the start

You're in the middle of a deep, dark wood. There's a huge castle up ahead, and you walk up to the front door which looms above you. do you:
1.) walk up to the front door and knock
2.) sneak along the outside of the castle walls, to find another way in
3.) try and climb over the walls

2.) sneak along the outside of the castle walls, to find another way in

You find a crack in the wall at the rear of the castle. It seems to lead into a passage inside the wall. It's very dark in there. Do you:

1. Head on in, trusting to your sense of touch to guide you.
2. Gather together the makings of a torch, light it and use the torch to guide you. (Gives you an unreliable light, but you can see for quite a distance down the passages.)
3. Summon to your side a tiny fairy to light your way. (Gives you a steady light, but the range of the light is limited to 1-2 metres around the fairy.)

1. you head on in, trusting your sense of touch to guide you, because you don't wanna be noticed by anyone else, and they might see the light coming. you edge your way down the tunnel, feeling the walls. suddenly you trip over something and fall to the ground. you try to move your leg but it's stuck.

do you:

1.) kick and try to drag your leg free
2.) reach down with your hands to try and feel the object and shove it off you
3.) start crawling down the tunnel, dragging the item with you

You:
2.) reach down with your hands to try and feel the object and shove it off you

Your hand comes in contact with several small, hard objects. Upon further exploration, you realise they're the fingerbones of a skeleton! Your leg is completely covered in bones! You also encounter a long, slender object while picking the bones off of yourself. It has the distinct feel of an arrow. Who, or what, shot this poor person? And why? Having freed yourself from the skeleton, you:

1. Try to find out if there are any other clues to the poor person's demise by checking through their tattered remains. (Light required if you find anything... or just hold onto it until you find a source of light.)
2. Cautiously continue to make your way down the passage, now with the knowledge that there may be traps before you reach the end.

2.) you cautiously continue your way down the passage, knowing there could be traps waiting. Suddenly you hear a clang as your foot steps on something, and you freeze, hearing a wooshing noise over your head.
Instinctively you:

1.) duck
2.) run
3.) roll
PostPosted: Wed Nov 01, 2006 6:24 pm

3. Roll. You hear something strike the wall at the end of the passage. Is this how the other poor fellow met his fate? You come out of your roll and crouch, listening for any further sounds. When a full minute has passed without any other noises, you slowly stand up, ready to duck and roll at the slightest hint of danger from above. You then realise your roll has taken you into a dead end. But hadn't this been a straight passage? Then you notice that part of the wall feels different to the rest. Almost like wood, not stone. You:

1. Return the way you came, being wary of the trapped floor-stone, to look for any turns.
2. Search around the dead end for any way to break through or open the wooden panel.

2. you search around the dead for a way through. Running your hands over the wooden panel you feel an indentation, and you push your fingers into it. You can feel something slimey inside, but your fingers close around something solid and cold, like stone. Could it be a lever?
do you:

1.) pull it, regardless of what could happen
2.) too scared that it could set off another trap you look around for another way to enter
3.) you give up and try and find somewhere else to go down the tunnel
PostPosted: Thu Nov 02, 2006 8:47 pm

1.) Pull it, regardless of what could happen.
The slimy object pulls towards you with some effort. You hear a grating sound, and the wooden panel starts to slide upwards... taking your hand with it! Acting quickly, you manage to pull your fingers free before they're crusthed.

On peering through the newly revealed doorway, you see a moonlit yard filled with immaculately kept flowerbeds, trees, water fountains and fancy statues. Someone obviously looks after this yard very well. The rear of the castle lies a small distance ahead. Suddenly you hear a scream echoing around you. You:

1. Cautiously enter the yard, studying the gardens and statues for any clue as to what this place might be.
2. Enter the garden, carefully making your way to the rear of the castle, but making a cursory study of the place as you go through.
3. Bolt for the castle door and hope it's unlocked.

2.) you enter the garden, looking cautiosuly all around. You hear a low growling noise behind you. do you:

1.) freeze and stand very still
2.) turn around slowly and look for whatever made the noise
3.) start running towards the castle doors
PostPosted: Fri Nov 03, 2006 6:35 pm

2.) Turn around slowly and look for whatever made the noise.
As you start to turn, you hear another growl. It sounds like it's just behind you. You look over your shoulder, but for a moment can see nothing. Then you notice a large black dog in the shadow of a nearby statue. It almost seems to be a part of the shadow. The dog's yellow eyes bore into you, and it growls again. You:

1. Slowly start moving towards the castle, moving backwards to watch the dog.
2. Attempt to befriend the dog.
3. Turn and bolt towards the castle's door.
4. Run to the nearest tree and climb it.

2. Attempt to befriend the dog.

You reach into your pocket and pull out the stale roast beef sandwich you hastily stuffed away earlier this morning. The dog seems hesitant but curious.

Do you:

1: Throw the food so the dog will chase it
2: Try to get the dog to follow you.
3: Talk to the dog like it can understand you.

cool game btw

3: Talk to the dog like it can understand you.
"Here girl. This is for you." You place the sandwich on the ground, then back away from it. The dog approaches the sandwich, sniffing. You blink, and in that instant the dog seems to have inhaled the sandwich. It's nowhere to be seen. She sits, and wags her tail happily. You seem to have made a friend. You no longer have any food, but you're in no danger of being eaten by the huge dog, either.

As you start to move towards the castle, the dog rises and follows you. You notice she's wearing a collar with a word emblazoned across it. It reads "Ashke".

You have finally reached the castle doorway. You:

1. Enter through the unlocked door.
2. Peer through a window or two to see what might be awaiting you inside.
3. Choose a random window to climb through.

1.) you enter through the unlocked door. as you look around you you can see that you've entered a large hall which seems to big to be possible. It's as if a whole world could fit in here. You hear voices, and notice that someone is heading your way from around a corner. Do you:

1.) hide behind a tapestry on the wall
2.) run back out of the locked door and find somewhere to hide outside
3.) look around for something to use as a weapon, even though attacking would make your presence here clearly known.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 06, 2006 8:44 am

1.) hide behind a tapestry on the wall
You slip behind the tapestry just before the person turns to face your way. You hear a voice say "Ashke! Who let you in here? Get outside now!" As Ashke heads towards the door, the person, clearly a male, mutter "I'm sure I closed that door. Bah, I have more pressing matters to concern myself with. She wasn't good enough. Where am I going to find another sacrifice at this late hour?"

With those ominous words, the man closes and locks the door, then shuffles off back down the corridor. You:

1. Wait until you can no longer hear the man, then peer out from behind the tapestry to make sure he's definitely gone.
2. Immediately attack him as soon as he passes beyond the tapestry. What a monster!

1. wait until you can no longer hear him and then peep out. what's going on here? do you really want to find out?
You look up the corridor that the man has just walked from, and you sneak out and walk down it. there's a door at the end of the passage, but you notice that it's locked when you get there. If you can remember rightly, you're sure you saw the guy walk past with one on his belt earlier...but is it really worth finding him and possibly getting into trouble??
do you:

1. go back and find that guy and think of a way to steal the key
2. try ramming the door to break it
3. find another way to open the door
