the broken Ice field, brocken long ago, contains almost ninety percent of it's ocean as ice. It was more of a death trap, hence it's name. No one knew if anything lived there, but it wasn't a 'loved' place. Luckily the many hards were blocked by an ice bridge that stopped them from heading out into the Ice Talon Pass or Elfwood Gulf. Acting like a dam. There were not only shards but huge glaciers covering the area, making it into a nice looking place, but not one anyone wanted to stay in.
