The great Arrorikar Lake--
This is more of an inland sea, but many indeed love the beautiful reflextion it gives off at night. This land is virgin to the taint of humans and other waring races.

The half-celestial sat on a broken tree, one that had fallen naturally in one of the storms that recently passed. Her golden-white hair sat still on her back, as did her glorious wings. Vyra smiled at the setting suns wishing her goddess a good night with a quick prayer. Almost as a reaction, the cool breeze drifted off the peaceful lake to brush her body.
Vyra smiled and fluttered her wings in return, utterly enjoying the outside. Mindlessly, she began to hum...then sing. The song was a lullaby sung to her by her mother, a lullaby that told the story of Krimaria.

Ark readjusted his armor, the tears and cuts in it sealing themselves from the magic it held. The half-dragon pulled his hooded cloak over his head more, tired from the battle with the crusader, who had fallen into a river and wasn't seen from that point. He believed him to be dead, for he was in plate armor, like most of the crusaders, and likely drowned. "Good riddence, ye of lesser race." The dark figure exclaimed, walking down a hill. He could hear a tune being sung in the distance, from his keen draconic hearing. This immediately brought his 8'4 frame down to the ground in a sleek crouching run on instict. Ark used his skills in sneaking, along with his Shadow Dragon ancestry, to move silently closer to Lake Arrorikar. He could see The half-celestrial, or that was what he made her out to be, from the distance, thanks to his low light vision as he law down, his cloak coveringhim completely in a dark grey comoflage. If she was a half-celestrial, she'd have no problem seeing in the dark, so he'd have to use different methods of hiding, like blending in with the surroundings. He was on another hill, so there wasn't much of him peaking over the ledge.

Her song softened as she looked at the lake, enjoying the reflection of the new moons on the lake. Vyra slowed her song until it stopped. And everything was silent.
Her eyes drifted down to her booted feet and she sighed, thinking of her past, the anger inside her churning. Immediately she began to sing again, a soothing song, to loosen her spirits, to calm her soul. Smiling, Vyra rose from the log, her heels crunching on the ground as she walked. For some reason, she could not sit still for very long, and in her mind it had been very long. Her wings folded tightly behind her as she walked, her oceanic eyes scanning the wilderness around her for danger or promise of friend.

Ark wasn't sure when to move, but finally, when she turned her back, he sprang silently as he could to his feet, crouch-running over to a large rock where he settled down, his cloak tight around him, and then his wings. He stood in clear view, but the way he sat and the color of his wings and cloak made him look like another rock with a bush behind it. He silently watched her sing, his glowing eyes dimming to almost without a glow, which was hidden under his hood. He hardly moved, hardly breathed as he waited. His hand subtly shifted for a grip at Chaos' Soul, just in case.

Vyra smiled at the sight of a delicate, velveteen flower just at the base of a rock. Approaching the large boulder, she crouched down, rubbing the petals with the tips of her fingers gently. The half-celestial whispered a blessing to the plant and began to hum again, but came to an abrupt stop with the realization of something abnormal. Slowly, Vyra lifted her head to look at the irregular shape of the boulder. Immediately, she leapt back with a gasp, nearly tripping over her own feet in an attempt to fall away.

He sprung forth, a six-foot long two-bladed weapon coming forth from under his cloak. His eyes glowed bright purple under a layer of smokey shadows that came from his horns and eyes. The eight foot tall half-dragon's wings spread as wide as he could, to make himself look more imposing as he quickly pulled his hood back. The weapon in his hand shot forth into an amazing ten feet, two feet taller than he, as he crouched low, his wings dropping back from his battle-stance. "What is the color of Night?" Ark asked, moving forward at her again with his red electricity-sparkling weapon. It was obviously filled with high levels of Negative Energy; something Celestrials were opposite of.

Vyra hissed, feeling rather short compared to his size. She too, spread her wings out wide, drawing her holy blade with one hand and held her other hand out in case a spell was necessary. "It is whatever color one percieves it. A blind man sees black. A deaf man sees his favorite color, for that is all he has left." She stepped back further. Her wings and armor glowed under the moonlight, reflecting its shine.

"You percieve things too litterally," He exclaimed the voice now coming from behind her; the half-dragon in front of her dissipating into shadow. "Not all things stand in material, Celestrial." He remarked, a breeze moving his cloak to the side of him, revealing his long tail for a moment. His mask could be made out to look grusome, and rimmed with horns along it's chin. "What is your business here, Celestrial? why are you not with your people?" Ark asked then, suddenly curious as to why she was here. Then again, after asking that, he Shadow-Walked to a place behind her. It was usful to a Shadow Dragon, when they faught in the Dark. He had the cercumstantial bonus in this situation, as it was night, and he got the element of surprise on her. Though it was being badly used, talking to her. Besides that, Ark was tired already from the long battle he'd had with the other crusader, and he doubted she'd like the fact that he'd killed one of her coligues.

Ark circled the half-angel, his arm beginning to ache again, from the deep cut the crusader had given him. It had almost taken his arm off, and his regeneration still wasn't fully ready. But he played his facet correctly, making it seem like he could battle. Besides, he'd had worse wounds before, back in his old adventuring days. He stood still for a bit, his cloak shifting to show the things behind him, and likewise to show the things in front of him, from behind; making him look transparent.

“I am here for business that is my own, not of the higher plane’s. It does not concern you unfortunately…” She hissed her wings poised for flight if the situation went out of hand. She knew that she could not outfly him straight out, but perhaps she could blind him with light and escape. But now was not the time to leave. “And you? What are you doing here? Hunting my kind? Hunting others?” If indeed a fight broke out, perhaps she could outweigh him in agility with her smaller size instead of power.

"I am here, because one such as yourself brought me here," Ark exclaimed, refering to the celestrial's singing. "And yes, You can say I was... Hunting." I remarked, his metal mask stetching into a toothy grin, his forward curving horns pointing down their owner looked down, moving around her again. Though this time, he failed just a bit to cover his failing arm, and it dropped strangely limp for a moment, before he subtly moved to bring it back up again. His cape continued to change color with the backround as he moved, the half-dragon then stood straight, thinking again. He didn't want to put his two handed weapon away; another mistake he had made, but neither was he sure he'd want to straight out attack her, at least not until his regeneration finished, which would take another ten or so minutes, to seal the wound. Finally, he moved forward, a cloud of negative-energy filled shadows spewing forth from his mask's teeth, the hald-dragon using his breathweapon. He whipped the cone of shadows to the side and back again, so that it would disperse around her, giving her almost no escape. Shadow walking to her back, he crouched down; for she'd not have been able to see him leave his spot; through the shadows.

Vyra began to cough heavily, the cloud seeming to overcome her lungs with negative energy. Her wings flapped vigorously to rid herself of the floating particles of spirit, with no success. What have I done to deserve this? I sang? Is that all?! She thought, clutching her chest in frail attempts to breathe. What kept her from attacking in the first place? I will not give into violence just yet Fre’tana… She thought, referring to the goddess of life. Finally, she felt a break in the air to breathe and she straightened, searching around her for her attacker, but failing at that as well.
