definately manga. the anime spent too much time idling on the time when Train was still an Eraser then got way too hurried shortly after he finally became a Sweeper, not to mention some of the best parts of the manga were left out and the Eden arc was crack; not good crack, but "OMG, tell me where you got that so I can stay away from it" bad crack.

Friendstar Train looks younger in the anime..... because of the differences in timeline between the anime and the manga Train could very well be about 1-2 years younger in the anime than in the manga.

I like them both. I mean, the anime doesn't have all the information as the manga, but, its still has the humor from the manga

I like the manga better(probably because I read 1-4 before I watched the anime) but I just like the pacing better. Important events happen over time. The anime jumbles it all together.

I don't know. The manga may be a little slow, but it shows what really happens. Then again, the anime is too fast, but it really expresses Train.... I DON'T KNOW!!! sweatdrop

` T o u k i I don't know. The manga may be a little slow, but it shows what really happens. Then again, the anime is too fast, but it really expresses Train.... I DON'T KNOW!!! sweatdrop the manga STARTS slow, but it REALLY gets going later. it just builds up the characters and plot so you see more development instead of a mad dash of events.

I prefer the manga a lot more. The development is more gradual whereas in the anime it looks like the creators pressed fastforward. And the Eden Arc... didn't like it. It seemed like the creators were like "We want to add something more...That's it! We could do a religious thingy because one of the characters is called Eve! Genius!" Yeah... right... ¬¬ Besides, I like Train's rail gun. >.< Yeah, definitely like the manga a lot more. -hugs the whole series-
