There won't be one. That animation in GGXX was only used for publicity.

Actually, to tell the truth, I would not want to see a guilty gear anime series. A movie (or two) or maybe even a short OVA would be fine but I want to keep Guilty Gear from suffering the same thing that's happened to several other games that have transitioned from video game to anime

Yeah, an OVA would be best, but anime is anime with me Yes, in all technicalities OVAs are still anime, but they just usually have more effort put into them as a whole and then we get better quality. Movies are even more high quality in most events. Perhaps another trilogy of anime movies would work. As I am... I just want them to keep moving the story along in the games.

... think he might be trying to say that the opening of X2 seemed less hand drawn then the game itself in his view... I think confused
