I anti-recommend Witch-child. I thought it was going to be really good, but it was extremely boring. I ended up using it to put me to sleep twice. I expect the sequel, Sorceress, is better, but I don't really know. My friend Rosie said that she stared to read it, but stopped because it was too boring.

Yes it was. I read three and guessed the villains at the very beginning of each one. And the characters are so flat! Nancy is so kind, smart and wonderful! Would it hurt her to be evil just once! blaugh And I did not notice that! I'm sorry! ninja

Yeah, it's pretty easy to guess the villians in most of them. And Nancy is such a Mary-Sue it's depressing. But have you read the new ones?

Sweetypop Yeah, it's pretty easy to guess the villians in most of them. And Nancy is such a Mary-Sue it's depressing. But have you read the new ones? No. I am afraid of boredom beyond belief.

A Mary Sue is a character that is perfect in every way. They are often found in fan-fics. The male version is called a Gary-Stu. For more information, click here. My stepmom loves Danielle Steele books. *in moviephone guy voice* Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia.

If you don't want to die of boredom, don't read:
~ Ryland's Footsteps ~ The Witch in the Lake ~ The Fire Within ~ The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy (and sequels) ~ Shadowmancer ~ Wormwood
They have no plot, the drone on, the don't have any interesting characters and they all made me stop 10 pages in! (and I love books, so that's unusual!!)

I definitely agree with the Nancy Drew books. The mysteries aren't interesting, and Nancy Drew is just a boring perfect detective.
But how could you say that the Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy books are boring? They're funny; they're not supposed to be real science-fiction. They are completely random and have no plot, but that's the whole point! If you think that they drone on, you must have no sense of humor.
And Lone Spirit Wolf - since when does time have a waist?
