Pierce Anthony - The Xanth Series, Allot of funnies and bad puns, overall (as far as I've read) good series.
Darren Shan- Cirque Du Freak, The BEST book series out there. If you like vamp fics, or good books, read em.
J.K. rowling- Harry Potter Series, Everyone knows them. Great books for fantasy people.

I forgot the author- Brother Wolf, First book in a series i'v yet to see other books of, Very good book. slightly sad too.
Philip Pullman- Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, Amber Spyglass, VERY GOOD SERIES. I am currently reading the last book.
Anne McCaffery- Dragonriders of Pern series, Only read first book so far, VERY good book.

I reccommend everything by Tamora Pierce (it helps if you read them in order), The Supernaturalist by Eoin colfer, everything by Wendy Mass, and A Series of Unfortunate Events.

I'd recommend anything by Meg Cabot, actually. I love the Princess Diaries, though I haven't gotten the latest one yet. I recently started the Mediator series, which is great, and I'm glad I finally managed to find them in paperback. So much cheaper! And All American Girl was really good too.

Yes, I like all the Meg Cabot books that I've read. I think that Teen Idol is really good. I haven't read the Mediator series, I might give it a go.
