So this post is one that I've been meaning to write for a while, but since I've been busy I havn't been able to.
So, while browsing through our guild I've noticed tons of things. Members that have come and gone, have been here rabidly then faded out, ones that were never here but have suddenly been here a lot.
I also looked back to one of the first posts I made here, Posted: Tue Mar 08, 2005 5:03 pm. Year later and a few months later we have like 130 members.
Our members? We have DJs, regular people, producers, musicians. We have people who love trance, house, dnb, you name whatever genre of electronic music and sub-genre I guarantee you'll find someone who likes or loves it here in Groovetech.
My point? I started this guild as a refuge from all the little Tiesto techno kiddies on the Electronica Forum. A place for intelligent discussion, a place where people can share musical tastes, a place where people can chill, talk, hang, and make friends.
I just have to say, Mission Accomplished. How did I accomplish this mission? You guys, and for that I want to say that you guys ******** rock. I also notice that most of the intelligent posts out on the Electronica Forum I can go look at our memberlist and find that intelligent poster on there. Once again, you guys ******** rock.
In summation, I love you guys all and thank you for joining.

Psychosis, thank you for providing the last safe place on Gaia. While the electronica forum used to be safe, the mods and tween 'techno' rans ruined it.

Be careful; last time I heard a guy in power say "Mission Accomplished," we got three more years of publicly denounced war, a government in the Middle East fell apart, and the credibility ratings of his entire party died like just about anything getting hit by a mach 3 whale.
But, more on topic, many thanks for this wonderful haven. We really do appreciate it here. 3nodding 3nodding heart

I was feeling a little bit nostalgic about all of the people who have drifted in and out of this guild over the last couple of years and so I went in search of old threads that might give me a clue to what happened to them. And I came across this thread which was made by our guild captain. It kind of reads like a mission statement for our guild. And after reading it I felt inspired to go out and try to recruit some new members for our guild. Anyway I think that it is important so I'm changing it from a regular thread to an announcement thread. So I hope that everyone will read the first post and then I'd like to hear some feedback from the members on what we can do to make this an even better guild. 3nodding

Why not make it into a mission statement or something along those lines. Maybe even a manifesto haha. The GrooveTech Manifesto razz .
With a little bit of revising and such, I'm sure that we could do it.
