You can tell the edge of the Forgotten Lands by its marsh ripping into the earth. To the north this grip goes un-moved, reaching into the vast forest and eventually loosening its grips as it reaches the Beach of Purity. It dries out and turns into a scorched land mass to the north near the beaches edge. To the south near the hills, and mountain ranges of the Antonian Kingdom the swamps are deeper almost forming lakes. The rivers from the mountains flow water into these bogs. The marsh and bogs were pitch black as the sky itself at night. Darkness loomed over these lands, and always had an overcast. The precipitation allowed vast vegitation, which resulted in gnarled age old withered trees to grow thick dark patches of moss over them. Moss seemed to grow on everything there. Everything in the Forgotten Lands carried a strange dark-purply hue, even the moss. There was no Kingdom here, just vast swamps and land spread across the dark valley. Buildings spring up here and there from the scattered land masses. Patches of forest also erupted from the groud sporadically. The Forgotten Lands was exactly that, forgotten by all humans. None would venture there withouth having a deathwish, for none had ever returned that did. You stand staring into this dark abyss of gloom, yet somehow you feel welcome as you take your first step into the dark waters...
