Yeah, it does suck that this place is dying. Anyway, I joined the group. I've been talking with a friend from a college south of my city about metal. He lives in the same hall as my girlfriend, and he's pretty much the biggest metalhead in said hall, so I'm seeing if he's got any bands that I should check out. If he has any I find good, I'll post about them here to try and revive this place.

That's cool. There's only one person I know at my college that is more knowledgable about metal than I am, which isn't saying much because I'm still really a noob. But I think he's already in this guild and just doesn't stick his head in much.

Well, I'm going to community college, and I have yet to meet anyone there who's really into Metal... So I tend to just go to my girlfriend's college from time to time, mostly to see her, but also to check in with the few guys there that are really good when it comes to bands and their genres.
