I dont know why I made this thread, but its here to talk about where you take horse riding lessons, board your horses, or you own barn.
In my barn, where I take lessons, everyone is very friendly.
Im riding a horse named Noah.
Hes such a sweetheart !

I just moved to a new boarding farm. It's great. The poeple are friendlier, and the horse has more space.

I just have riding lessons seeing as I don't have a horse to board... smile I love my riding stables but they recently sold my favourite horse crying

I used to take lessons from my cousin first with Spirit then my Maxi heart
Then when he wanted to sell Max I got her cause i would die without her x_X
And we pay him to keep Max at his place and I take care of her and all that it's so awesome!

my stables are cool, in the riding school most people are really nice, but the some of the people who own their own horses, and have lots and lots of money can be really annoying. thankfully, i don't really have to deal with them.
I like my barn tho, cause the horses are all soo cool! (i heard recently that there are over 200 horses at the barn now)

Everyone at the barn where I ride is really polite. They keep to themselves and try not to cause trouble. Except private lessons wont always be prive.
My trainer and her daughters are national Champs. As is the horse I ride Gidget. She is such a sweety. but has a mind of her own.

I've taken lessons at many places... I've met tons of people, some friendly and some unfriendly.
I'm currently boarding my horse at a private facility and taking lessons from the owners of the place. I have been taking lessons for 4 years there, which I was able to tie into my jumping and other disciplins I was into. Now I board Riley there, I'm the only boarder so its a tad lonely but my friend boards her horse at a fancy and expensive hunter/jumper & dressage barn just up the road. So when it gets warm enough we're going to go trail riding together.
I currently ride out with my coaches wife, who sold me Riley and is helping me out with him outside my lessons. I rode a few horses at this place, Eagle, Sundance, Harvey and a few others who had come in for training and since left.
^.^ its a geat place, but I wish I had some people my age to ride and chat with lol but I don't want to move to another stable since its more expensive for less care.
They do hwoever lease their barn out every winter to this equestrian center who doesn't yet have the funds to build their own indoor ring, so there are some girls my age but... their a little unfriendly if your not from their stable, they won't chat with you at all.
I wish people here were as friendly as you guys discribed at your barns.

I've been taking lessons for 3 years now and have been riding at the same place the whole time. It's a therapeutic riding place and is about 30-45 mins from my house. All the instructors are great and most of the horses are great too. I ride an appaloosa named Bracken and she's my favourite horse there my second favourite is another appaloosa named Hawkeye whom I used to ride.
