Ilik laughs. The desert? The desert is a warm, nasty place with no secrets left to hide. The mountains are the place to be... they are unexplored, with mysteries still above and below...

Death and adventure reign all over Alagaesia. I can't wait for map extensions to be released, especially if Paolini writes more tales after the inheritance trilogy.

druid, man.... druids don't wear armor... we go all nature... unless, I guess... if it's leather armor... i don't know...

hardened leather will defend you!!! even soft leather might, but yes, druids don't wear armor (D&D logic- nor do rogues)

agrees with fencerboy. As a druid, we don't rely much on melee armor, but magic armor. Druids use the wildlife, such as plants or trees as armor. We also send in animals or creatures as our tanks/melee combatants so that we will not get hit.

In the woods, the elements are easier to be controlled.... and in the mountains... well.. mountains are just great places to have battles...

in D&D (sorry for leaving the subject of Eragon) I am a DM, I had some guys going for so long, that when they went to battle, one had 4...I think 47 dire wolves and a dragon with him...
