St. Sneaky Pete's Day is on Wednesday (meaning, it starts with Wednesday night's rollover). On this holiday, if you get yourself to 26 drunkenness, you get special adventures, and if you do it right, you get a special prize the next day (nothing fancy, just special). Note, of course, that you'll be drunk, so once you get there, you won't be able to do other adventuring.

This is how it worked last time (who knows if they're going to change it)...

To get that drunk, the easiest way is to buy green beers from the mall (or make them -- combine ten-leaf clovers with beers like Sir Schlitz, but that's a lot of clovers). If you have Liver of Steel (you get that for completing the Friars if you are no-path or Boozetafarian), drink yourself (using whatever alcohol you like) to 19 drunkenness, then drink as big a piece of alcohol that you can find, to boost yourself to 22 or 23. Drink green beers until you get yourself to 26. If you don't have Liver of Steel, drink yourself to 14, then drink a big piece of alcohol, then drink green beers. Note: You can only drink a total of 10 green beers on St. Sneaky Pete's Day.

Once you're at 26 Drunkenness, adventure. If you find a bottle opener or corkscrew (or some other type of wieldable drink item), wield it. With that wielded, you should get a special encounter -- last time, you woke up with your spleen removed and replaced, with a blue ribbon around it. smile Once you get the special encounter, you're flagged to receive the special item the next day.

For my HC char, I watch the calendar and adjust her ascensions so she's able to do the events I want. She's always oxy or teet, so she never does St. Sneaky Pete's day, but I make sure to have lots of turns saved up for Feast of Boris. I got my three-tiered cake trophy during the last one. biggrin

I didn't have enough meat to buy the green beers, and I didn't have a beverage that super-juiced me!
