Since I'm all curious as to what you fellow phans think, what would you say your favorite "Phantom of the Opera" tune is, and why?
Personally, 'Music of the Night' is my favorite, although it ties with all the rest, because they're all good. 'Music of the Night' is a wonderful arrangement of slurs and pointed notes, where it keeps an obvious gentility to it without being too 'soft and weak'. The quiet seduction behind it attracts Christine into a completely silent state, and may as well awe the rest of the people listening. Plus, it's the only song sung by Phantom himself, and I just love that.
But, that's just my opinion. 3nodding

Oh dear, that is difficult...I've never before had to choose my favorite but at the present moment I would have to say Past the Point of No Return. It's a very fun song, and it just has something about it that makes it very pleasing to listen to. Yeah, I guess I don't really have a reason for this one! blaugh

Oh, most definitely the top tied 3 would be the
Phantom of the Opera, Past the Point of No Return, Masquerade, and the runner up would be
Angel of Music
