As much as I love Placebo and similar alternative(?) music, my favorite has pretty much always been 70s glam rock. Bowie, Jobriath, T. Rex, that sort of thing. So does anyone else like it?

3nodding It's weird 'cause whenever we're in the car my dad will put on his radio stations and sometimes I'd actually like the music, but I didn't really know it as anything other than my dad's stuff. Then Velvet Goldmine came and I started recognizing and looking up the songs and it was like "Oh, so that's what it is!" Like, I used to love the theme song for Highlander, but I never knew it was a Queen song until a few months ago. So it's like I'm discovering what this stuff I already like is called.

I have to say, I've always been one to transcend musical boundaries. I've always been one to have "Day Tripper" come up on my Media Palyer followed by "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails and then go into 'Dremaing" by Blondie.
But I have to say, over the last couple of weeks, i've really fallen deeply in love with glam rock. Like, I've never listened to most of the stuff I have really indepth and it really hits me like no other genre of music I've ever listened to before.
