Table O' Contents you are here Intro Details Prizes This Week's Contest Intro.....This monthly activity was inspired by something done at my high school every year. Only at my school, we call it "homecoming week". It's a week of dressing up to a different theme everyday. So let's say Monday was... "throwback day". You'd dress in old school clothes to suit the day. Then Tuesday would be another theme.
Well here in PMCJ, we have the same thing going on, but dressing up can earn you gold. wink Interested? Read on.....

Details.....
Theme Week occurs on the first Monday of every month to Sunday. Each day will have a specific theme, and if you want to participate, you'll have to dress according to the theme.
Here's the deal: Every month I'll make a new thread titled, "Theme Week" in this main forum of the guild. What you'll do is:
--check this thread and see what the theme is for each day
--on that day, dress up to match the theme
--go post in the official Theme Week thread created by me
When I see your post in that thread and that you dressed accordingly to the theme, I'll add your name to the list. If you miss even just one day, you're out. No exceptions. You'll have to wait until next month to participate again.
On the following Monday after Theme Week has ended, only the people on the list may compete for a chance to win 5k. If your name is on the list, that means you dressed up everyday for Theme Week and posted in the thread for me to see.
Here's how it works: the people on the list all go to the official Theme Week thread that I created and each of them will generate one random number sometime on Monday. They have to do it by Monday night though, because at 7:00 central time I will generate one random number also. The person whos number is closest to mine will win 5k.
But what happens if two or more people tie? Well we'll do it again until someone wins. It's that simple!

FAQ.....
Q: Does it cost anything to participate?
A: Nope! Like most contests in PMCJ, this one is 100% FREE.
Q: So even if I miss dressing up for one day, I can't continue to participate?
A: If you want, you can still dress up to the themes. But no, you can't still be in the running for 5k if you miss even one day.

Prizes.....Not only is this just a random number game of chance, but you can also win 1k by having a good avatar! I will reward 1k to the person/people that have nice, creative, and intelligent avatars that stick with the theme and still manage to look great!But keep in mind... you can only win 1k for a good avi onceif you win the random number game then you can NOT win 1k for a good avi. It doesn't matter if 1k has already been rewarded to a good avi for...say... Thursday's theme. I give 1k to all really good avatars in general, so it doesn't matter if somebody has already won for one theme.

This Week's Contest.....
Our next Theme Week will begin on March 5.
The themes will be.....
Monday...
Career Day... dress up like a person with a career. It can be any career--artist, lawyer, doctor, etc.
Tuesday...
Newb... dress up like a newb in starter clothing or... no clothing at all!!! surprised
Wednesday...
Tacky Day... dress up all tacky and funky ugly-looking. ^-^
Thursday...
Nerd... dress up as a nerd.
Friday...
Formal Friday... dress up in your finest attire--gowns, tuxedos--nice clothing people.
Saturday...
The Pack Rat... put on as MANY items in your inventory as humanly POSSIBLE!!! We're talking major clutter!
Sunday...
Pajama rama... put on those nice, warm pajamas.
